"Livii, Eliot.... Eve and I have something to tell you about our past together." says David as he takes livii's hand accross the dinning room table and Eve takes Eliot's. "yes, we do." says Eve. "we already know about your past. you use to be married, and had two kids." says Livii picking up her fork with her free hand. "yeah" says Eliot. "but then you got divorced and now your close friends. we know, and understand." "yes but there is something we havnt told you..." David says trailing off. "yes and now that i am engaged to you Eliot" says Eve. "and me to you Livii. we feel that we should tell you the story" says David. " "okay, then start from the beginning." says Eliot

"So Eve, what do you want to do for your birthday this friday?" says David as he puts the car in drive. "NOTHING!!!!!!!!! we have been friends scince fourth grade and boyfriend and girlfriend scince sixth. you should know by now that i dont like birthday parties!" says Eve in a serious yet joking voice. "o come on! its your SWEET 16 for gods sake!!! you have to have to have a party!!!" "NOO! and that is final!" "fine... but im taking you out for a really nice dinner and you have to come! okay?" David says as he parks infront of her house. "fine. but nothing else! your a real ass sometimes, you know that?" Eve says in a joking voice. "ya ya." David says as they both lean in for a long kiss. "i'll see you tomorrow at school ok? and tomorrows thursday so i have dance team practice at 3:30... you dont have to take me home. I love you." says Eve opening the car door. "k. i love you too"says David putting the car in drive and leaving.
(next day end of school day)
"hey lynn." says eve as she walks out of the class room door. "ya eve?" "how long is dance gonna go tonight?" "idk probably til 5:00 or 5:30, why" "cause i need to talk to david." "ooo... a relationship talk?" lynn says in a sarcastic voice. "noo... i want to make sure that he is not throwing me a party tomorrow. cause he knows i dont want one. do you know anything?" "no. and why do you ever want birthday parties? they could be so fun! and for your sweet sixteen... you HAVE to have a party! it's one of the biggest mile stones in a girls teenage life!" "no!!! I dont want a fuckking party and thats final! lets just get to practice before we are late, again." "ok"

"hey kaleb come help me plan eve's suprise party"david says while sitting down on a bench "but i thought she said she didnt want one" "so. i know she love me even more after its over cause she will be caught up in the fact that im going to give her a promise ring... i want to marry her." david says with a huge smile on his face "dude are you sure? your only sixteen... do you know how your going to be labeled by the rest of the school? every one is gunna like shun you or something." " your jumping to conclusions... its just a promice ring that means i want her to marry me when we are eighteen. and yes im sure... im in love with her. i just hope she is in love with me. i dont know what i would do if she said no...." david says looking down at his hands in his lap. " "its fine... she is gonna say yes. she loves you like crazy! lets just start planning her party." kaleb says sitting down next to david.
