Harry laughed at Matilda's mumbled sentence.
"You look exhausted, darling.", he told her, sitting her down on the bed.
As her eyes began to shut, Harry shook her lightly.
"You have to take off your makeup first, Tills. As you love to say, it's not good to sleep with it on."
Matilda let out a groan, forcing her eyes open.
"I'll go get the cotton rounds and the micellar water, but whatever you do, don't fall asleep, k?", Harry asked, getting up.
"Mkay.", Matilda sleepily replied.
Harry was back within 20 seconds, and was ready to help Matilda take off her makeup.
"You're so beautiful with or without makeup, you know that right?"
"Mhm. But makeup makes me look even more beautiful.", she mumbled.
They had a small conversation as Harry took off her eyeliner, eyeshadow and lipstick, before he'd go in with her cleansing balm.
"Jules and James' baby is so cute. Princess Charlie.", she laughed.
"She is adorable. I've never seen you happier than you were when you saw her."
"I love babies. Especially chunky babies. They have such cute cheeks."
"You know, Harry-"
"If this is you trying to convince me to want to start trying for a baby, it's a no, love.", Harry sighed.
"Why not though?", Matilda grumbled.
"We can't handle a baby right now, Tilly. You're going on tour in a few months, and I don't want you to be going through so much stress especially while being pregnant."
"Taking care of Angel is hard enough, and to add a human on to that? It's not the best time. I'm sorry, baby.", Harry rubbed her cheek.
Matilda stayed quiet, slightly upset.
"As soon as our schedules slow down, we can talk about it again. It's not a no forever, but it's a no for now."
"We can stop talking about it now, Harry.", Matilda replied, obviously getting upset.
"I'm sorry."
"I'm going downstairs for a bit.", she got up, getting ready to walk out of the room.
"You're so fucking petty.", Harry mumbled, making her stop in her tracks.
"Oh, so I'm petty? I'm petty?", she asked.
"I didn't mean that, Mal-"
"You said it though. You know what, fuck you. I'm going to go stay with Joe. I'll be back when you decide to watch your mouth.", Matilda interrupted him, grabbing her keys and getting ready to leave.
"Tills, we can talk about this.", Harry ran after her.
"I'm good. Maybe me leaving will give you more of a reason to believe I'm so petty. Fuck off.", she got in her car, driving off down the road.
