CHAPTER 2

Title: The Kiss, Break-up, Accident

The rays of the sun hit my face as it shines brightly. Though it is strange that Red didn't woke me up today. Lagi nya kasi akong ginigising. Tumayo ako ng higaan at dumiretso sa closet ko para kumuha ng damit. Sabay dumiretso na ako sa bathroom ko at sinumulan ng magprepare. Nang natapos ako ay pumunta ako sa kwarto ni kuya Red. Pag bukas na pagbukas ko may nakita akong bote ng alak sa lapag. Hindi lang isa kundi ten bottles. Lumaki ung mata ko pero sinimulan ko nalang pulutin lahat ng bote. Wala na din sya sa higaan siguro naliligo na sya. Syempre inisa isa ko lang ung mga bote at inilagay sa isang sulok at bumaba sa kitchen para kumuha ng trash bag. Pagbalik ko inayos ko ung higaan nya. Since practice naming mamayang hapon pa, aayusin ko na ung mga kwarto namin. Ngayon ko lang aayusin ung kwarto nya kasi hindi naman sya ganito ka kalat. Siguro nga may problema sya.Pagkatapos kong ayusin ung higaan nya, narinig ko na bumukas ung pintuan. Di ko nga lang alam kung aling pintuan. Kung pintuan nitong kwarto oh ung pintuan ng bathroom nya. Napalingon ako sa likudan ko nakita ko sya half-naked. Omona >_<!!!! Nabitawan ko tuloy ung trash bag buti nalang mababa lang ung pinagbagsakan kaya hindi nabasag. Nung nakita nya kung anung nangyari nag smirk sya. Ako naman itong si tanga hindi maka alis sa kinatatayuan ko parabang naka glue ung paa ko sa sahig. Palapit na sya ng palapit sa akin hanggang sa nasa harapan ko na sya. He pulled me by the waist and whispered in my ears "Checking me out are we? You like what you see?" omo!! Omo!! Omo!! I'm pretty sure I'm redder than a tomato right now *0*. He pulled away but his arms are still around my waist and he looked at my face. I bit my lower lip and shake my head. He smirked again. Why does he always do this to me? "S-stop m-making fun of me" I told him. My oh my why did I even stutter? His face went so close to mine. "Yah stop making fu-" then He kissed me. My eyes went wide. He pulled away and looked into my eyes. He kissed me again but this time I responded. Our lips are in sync. My mind yells at me for being stupid and yet my body moves by itself. I shouldn't be doing this and yet I can't stop. I get drunk with every move his lips make. He laid me on his bed and started grinding. It's so addicting that I can't stop even if I wanted to. His kisses went to my jaw until he reached my neck. I tugged at his hair when he kissed me there. A moan escaped out of my mouth. His hand went to my thigh and run his hand higher. Suddenly his phone rang which made him stop to pick it up and answer the call. Finally I can breathe. I'm so thankful dun sa tumawag sa kanya. Kasi kung hindi sya tumawag siguro hindi lang dun ung inabot namin.Why did we even did that?! We're twins for pete's sake! Pero nakita ko ung mukha nya. He looked at me na parang naaawa sya sa akin. That's the look that I hate the most. "Bakit mo ako tinitignan ng ganyan?!" tumayo ako at sigawan ko saya. Naaasar na ako sa kanya kasi hanggang ngayon ganun pa din ang tingin nya sa akin. "WHAT?!" galit na talaga ako. Inabot sya sa akin ung cellphone nya. Bigla akong kinabahan nung nasa kamay ko na ung cell phone nya. Tinignan ko ung screen. Biglang nanghina ung tuhod ko. Naramdaman ko nalang ung kamay nya na nakahawak sa magkabila kong braso. Naramdaman ko din na may tubig na tumulo sa pisngi ko at nanlabo ang paningin ko. Di ko namamalayan na umiiyak na pala ako. Ung picture, Si Jake may kasamang babae at mukhan masaya sya the worst part is they're kissing tapos may nakalagay pang date sa picture. Mukhang sinadya na hindi tanggalin at nakita kong ngayon lang kuha ang picture na un. May nakalagay pang time. Sumakto pa sa pag gising ko ung oras sa litrato. Tapos Nakalagay sa baba "You are invited to my wedding". Ang tanga tanga ko talaga kahit kalian. Bakit hindi ko alam? Tumayo ako at tumakbo papunta sa kwarto ko. Kinuha ko ung susi sa night stand ko at narinig ko ung doorbell pero di ko nalang pinansin. Pagkababa ko ng hagdan, Nakita ko si Jake at Red na nag-uusap. Ang lakas ng luob nyang pumunta dito. "Babe look, let me explain." Sabi nya dinaanan ko lang sya. Palakad na sana ako papunta sa front door pero hinila nya ung kamay ko. "Babe please -" di ko sya pinatapos sa sasabihin nya. I slapped him. Tapos ito nanaman ako umiiyak nanaman. Lumuhod sya at hawak pa din nya ung kamay ko. "I deserve that. But babe please listen. That picture was 3 years ago." "Three years ago? Then why does the photo said that it was just taken today. 2 hours ago." Sabi ko sa kanya. Pinipilit kong pakalmahin ung sarili ko "I don't know but babe I swear on my grave that that picture isn't taken today." He said. Nakita kong umiiyak na sya. Naaawa ako sa kanya, ayaw kong nakikita syang umiiyak pero he need to understand that I'm the one who's hurt here "That's bullshit Jake. You might be able to make other people believe in your lies but you can't make me. It's over Jake. I'm done with whatever this is." sabi ko sa kanya pagkatapos ay tumakbo na ako sa labas. Pumasok ako sa kotse at pinaandar ito ng mabilis. Wala na akong paki-alam kung mabunggo ako. Ayaw ko na. Hindi ko na kaya. Hindi ko namalayan na may mga sumisigaw na huminto ako pero huli na ang lahat. Paglingon ko sa kaliwa ko nandun na ung truck. In a matter of seconds, it hits the car that I am in. I saw how it hit my car. It tripped many times while I'm inside the car. I can feel the pain but as seconds pass I became numb. My eyelids are becoming heavy. I saw the driver of the truck went out of his truck and help me out of my wretched car. Luckily my feet aren't pinned down. He carried me and took me away from the car. I can't understand what he's saying but I am sure that he is asking for help. I saw someone went to our direction and pressed something on my head. It made me feel better. I can now hear their conversation "She'll be alright and I'm a doctor. I'm heading to the hospital now. Let's go to my car so we can take her there and get her checked." That's what the doctor said "Thank you for helping" I supposed that's the driver of the truck. Even though I still can't talk much I apologized and thanked them both "I'm so sorry for causing you all the trouble and thank you so much for helping me." then I cried. Again.  The one who took me out of my car asked "Appa is she going to be alright?" I heard another voice. "Yes son. He said she'll be alright" I was searching for the owner of the voice. I looked up because I am looking on my lap. I also noticed that the kind driver who saved my life is still carrying me. I looked up straight and looked at who's carrying me. I saw a guy and it looks like he's older than me for about 3 years and he is also good looking. I didn't notice that some tears are falling from my eyes. "Hey are you alright?" he asked me. I can tell that he is worried. I just shake my head. "Does it still hurt? Tell me where is the pain over." He said. "We are almost there. Young lady what is your name?" The one who's driving asked me. I guess he's the doctor. I looked at my lap and answered his question "My name is Scarlet Frost Evans. I am so sorry for causing you trouble. I have bothered many people because of my stupidity. It's just that I have a problem and I should have known better. I should have just stayed there even though it hurts so much to see his face." I didn't finish what I am saying because I was already sobbing. I felt his hold became tighter. He hugged me and that's when all my tears started to flow out. "Shhh. Uljimayo Agassi. You'll be fine." The kind old man told me. so they are korean "He's also korean" I told them. "He's such an idiot for letting go of you" this time it's the one who's carrying me. "Ms. Evans can you do me a favour?" The doctor said "Yes Sir but please call me Scar or Yasha." "Please don't close your eyes. Even though it's tempting please don't close your eyes." With those words I felt a little drowsy like I'm so tired "Shit! She's about to close her eyes!" I heard him talk to the doctor "Talk to her. It'll distract her. We're almost there." The doctor said. "Hey. Don't close your eyes. We're almost there." He said. "What's your name? All of you." Tanong ko sa kanya. Gusto kong malaman ang pangalan ng mga taong nagligtas sa akin. "My name is Drake Kim. My father's name is Kim Geun Jong." Sabi nya "I am Doctor Travis McGraw. Why did you asked?" taong nya sa akin. "I want to remember the ones who saved me even though they don't know me." sabi ko. Drake took me by surprise when he hugged me tightly but it's gentle and he even joked "We can't leave a beautiful young lady, can we?" I let out a chuckle. "We're here" his father opened the door for him. "It's okay I think I can walk. You can put me down." Sabi ko sa kanya. Kanina pa nya kasi ako karga karga. Naperwisyo ko na nga sila tapos dinala pa nila ako dito. "No.I'm not gonna let you walk. What if your feet isn't alright. Don't worry I'm alright and we're not gonna leave until we fix this." Sabi nya. "But-" di nya ako pinatapos "No buts." Sabi nya. Medyo nagging blurry ung vision ko. Gustong gusto ko na talgang ipikit ung mata ko. Pinipigilan ko lang kasi ito ung favour na hiningi sa akin ng doctor na tumulong din sa akin. May narinig akong bukas ng pinto at mga taong nagmamadali. Bigla kong naramdaman na binaba ako. "You can wait outside. I'll take care of her don't worry" agad kong nakilala ung boses kasi sya ung kanina pa naming kasama. "We'll make some check-ups on you and also clean your wounds but stay awake. Is that alright? After that you can rest." Tumango nalang ako. So they made some test and did clean my wounds. Some are painful but I just bared it. "You're lucky you don't have any broken bones but you have some wounds and bruises but other than that you'll be fine. You can have your rest now." Dr. Travis said. "Where's MR. Kim and his son?" I asked him. "They said they'll get their thing in that truck and also bring your things that you left in your car here." Sabi nya. I can't believe it. I'll pay for everything that I wretched. Mga 5 minutes ang nakakalipas bilang bumukas ung pinto. Since medyo di na blurry ang paningin ko nakita ko na kung anung itsura nila. Now I know where he got his looks. Kamukha nya ung appa nya. The difference is that he is more handsome and youthful unlike his father. Siguro mga kasing edad lang sya ni dad. He's also handsome but you can see that he is an adult. "Did you have your rest already?" tanung sa akin ni Drake. Tinignan ko lang sya. He's face is really irresistible. Kung tatawid ka siguro sa daan at nakita mo sya dun sa tatawidan mo nabunggo ka na siguro nakatitig pa din sa kanya. "Yasha right? Why aren't you resting?" tanung nya sa akin. I gave him a sad smile. He put both of his hands on my face and kissed my forehead. "A beautiful young lady like you should be smiling and not crying." Sabi nya sa akin. Dahil dun napangiti nya ako. "Agassi do you know your parents' or family number?" tanung sa akin nung papa nya. "Yes sir but please don't call them. I don't want to them to see me like this. Mostly I don't want to burden anyone anymore. I already turned 18 last week so that means I can take care of myself." Sabi ko. Nakita kong napakunot ung noo ng tatay nya. "What's wrong appa?" tumingin sa kanya ung papa nya. "I can't find our plane ticket to korea for tonight." "Are you sure dad? I'm pretty positive that I put it there." Nag uusap sila. "Even our money and phones aren't here." Sabi nya "Go check her bag if hers are missing also." So chineck nyaung bag ko pero sabi nya "hers are here" sabi nya. I can't believe that they got robbed. "You got robbed. They went for you things because they are sure that all of it are still fin. Unlike mine, they won't go near the things because the car is wretched so they assumed that also the things are already wrecked. They are all stupid. I can give you all the things that you lost. I'll tell the doctor that I'm already fine so we can go get all you need for your flight tonight." Lumaki ung mata nilang dalawa at sinabi ng tatay nya "But Agassi the plane ticket alone is so expensive and there's two of us. Also the money that they took from us is for my son's education. About the phone we can use a payphone because I have written all the numbers in my old booklet. It's alright we'll just call them and I guess we'll wait longer for him to get into school" nakita ko ung mukha ng anak nya. I can say that he really want to go to school. "You are going to college aren't you? What year are you this school year?" tanung ko sa kanya. Hindi naman sya nagsalita kaya ung tatay nya nalang ang nag kwento. "yes he should be in college. That's the reason why we're going back to korea because it's more affordable for us. We don't have a lot of money. I work for the money for our daily needs while he worked hard for his education bad sad to say that they just took it without a care." Sabi ng tatay nya. "Criminals don't care about other. They only care for theirselves but I, however, can help you." Sabi ko sa kanila. I saw Drake's face lighten up a bit. "But how are going to do that? You can only do that only if you are, rich" unti-unti nilang narealize na anak ako ng isang mayaman. "I am sir. Well, my parents are but they just give me money and yet they don't know how to spend it so they just give it to me and my twin brother. Beside I'm pretty sure that they still have plenty. About your son's education, I know the best school in Korea. I can get him in anytime. We also own a popular school here. He can get in there." Sabi ko sa kanila(AN: Her parents are billionaire) " Even so you can help us I am not going to accept your offe Agassi. It's too much." Sabi nung tatay nya "It's the only way I can pay you back with your kindness. Besides it's my fault why you got robbed. Please accept my offer." Sabi ko sa kanila "Agassi there are a lot of things in this world that you still don't understand. We helped you because you needed help and when you help never expect any thing in return. If you wanted to pay back you need to pay back with kindness." Un ang sabi ng papa ni Drake. "Sir I'm sorry if I sounded like i am buying the kindness that you gave to me. I just really want to help you. You helped me today and now it's my turn to help you. Please, Sir." Sabi ko sa kanya. Tignan nya ung anak nya. Malungkot ito dahil sa nangyari. "Okay but don't spend too much okay?" sabi nya sa akin. Sa sobrang tuwa ko napayakap ako sa kanya. He is a great person and he deserves to have a great life and that's what I'm going to give them both. "But in one condition. You need to rest first. We'll stay here with you until you are alright." Sabi nya. Tumango ako at hihiga n asana nung biglang tumunog ung phone ko. Binigay sa akin ni ahjussi ung bag ko at nilabas ko ung cellphone. Naalala ko na ang gamit ko pala ay ung bigay sa akin kahapon ni Jake. "Yeobeoseyo?" sabi ko. (AN: "hello?") "We're on our way there okay?" un lang sinabi ni Red at pinatay na nya ung call. Napabuntong hininga ako at napatingin naman sa akin sila Drake. "Waegeurae?" tanung nya sa akin. "Eopsseoyo. Can I talk to you for a second ahjussi?" sabi ko sa kanya. "Wae? Is everything alright Agassi?" tanong nya. Tumango ako at sinabing "Please don't tell my brother that I'm going to help you. He's not like me, he's more different." He agreed and we talked for a while. "Hey drake, which school do you want to go?" I asked Drake. He just looked at me, It's like he's a kid who got his wish. "Anywhere. I just want to go to school and study so I can give my family a great life" he said. I smiled at him. I was about to open my mouth and ask him again but The door bursted open and Red ran towards me and checked me. He looks so worried. "Are you alright? Are you hurt? Of course you are hurt! I'm so stupid-" I cut him off and told him. "I'm alright. Luckily they *points at Drake and his father* didn't ran away after the accident I caused." I said. "I'm sorry I over-reacted but you can't blame me." He sighed. "I know Scar. I'm so sorry I didn't told you earlier. This shouldn't have Happened." My eyes went wide with what he said "You knew about this the whole time? Is that why you didn't want him near me? Why didn't you tell me?! You lied to me Red! How could you?! You are suppose to be on my side!" pagkatapos nun ay hindi ko na napigilang mapahagulgol "Scar I'm so sorry I didn't m-" hindi ko na sya pinatapos. "Umalis na kayo. Please lang Red. I don't want to see your faces again and let alone hear your voice. Don't even call me your sister anymore. I'm cutting everything that bind us both." Sabi ko sa kanya. Ayaw kong nakikita syang umiiyak. Parang gusto kong bawiin lahat ng sinabi ko sa kanya. Ayaw ko syang nakikitang nasasaktan pero hindi ko ginawa. I know he deserves this. "I'm so sorry" sabi nya sabay hinalikan nya ako sa noo at tumalikod na sya. Nakita ko naman ung tingin sa akin ni Jake. I can see that he's really sorry but I don't care anymore. Lumabas na sila ng room. Mga ilang Segundo lang ang lumipas umiiyak nanaman ako. Lumapit naman sa akin si Mr. Kim "Your brother is the one you were talking to, isn't it?" tumango lang ako and I wiped my face and said "He's not my brother anymore. He's the only one I trust so much but he lied to me." sabi ko "I don't know how it feels to have a twin brother but I do know how it feels to be betray by one of your family members. I was once like you. I pushed him away. I told him that I don't want anything to do with him but when my wife died, he was the only one who helped us and still helping us until now. The truth is he's the one who gave us the plane tickets.I don't want to intervene with your problem with your brother. I just want to give you an advice. No matter how big the problem had happened between the two of you, I am sure that he will be by your side no matter what. Always keep that in mind." Sabi nya. Tumango ako at nginitian ko sya. "You should rest Agassi. Dr. McGraw said you can go home after some rest here." I nodded at him and I closed my eyes. As minutes passed I fell asleep.
