From Online to Reality [Voxto]

Chapter 1

"Vox...! Vox, please! Answer your phone!!!"

"Vox... Just... Call me back, ok?"

"Mother f**ker, I need to know you're ok, call me back damn it!"

"Vox... Babe... Please..."

Vox Akuma worn a warm smile on his face as he listened to the voicemails.

His voicemail box was full, and almost half of them were from the popular demon slayer, Shoto.

His little demon slayer.

Vox could not find the right words to describe his relationship with this demon slayer.

Sometimes they were like friends, other times they were like enemies.

After all, Shoto slays demons; and Vox was a 400+ year-old demon.

However, whether you're a demon or the slayer, you still need a job for a living. And these two just happened to become famous gamers online.

That was how the two met online, to have a collaboration.

Vox immediately got a liking to Shoto not because of his looks, but his dreamy voice.

God his voice... It was a dream come true.

And teasing the boy was so much fun to watch, too.

They became good friends soon, and the more they talked, the deeper their connection became. However, the two have never met in real life.

Shoto invited Vox for another game collab and the demon said yes, the collab was supposed to happen two days ago.

Yet the demon did not show up.

The chat went crazy, Shoto waited for hours, but nothing happened.

It was until Shoto found out there was a serious car accident in UK, and Vox was one of the passengers; this was on the global news.

Hence here Vox was, lying in bed in the hospital, being unconscious for two days.

The first thing he woke up to, was the doctors and nurses, and all these voicemails.

"Your phone kept ringing all the time, I had to help recharge your phone otherwise the battery is dead." The nurse initiated a conversation as she began to measure Vox's blood pressure.

"I see, thank you so much."

The nurse blushed a little hearing Vox's manly deep voice. "You had a percussion, luckily all the CT scans and bodychecks were fine, we just need to do some more testing to ensure you're fine, ok?"

Vox nodded, he was still feeling weak, but as a demon, he knew he'll heal soon.

He wanted to meet Shoto in person so bad now.

He had to admit, he was touched from hearing all those panicking voicemails from this cute demon slayer.

It didn't take long before he dialed a phone call to his purple-haired boy.

Yet the demon quickly cut off the call, he remembered the time differences between his city and Shoto's place.

Shoto could be resting now, hope that call won't wake him up, it probably only rung for a second.

Vox's mobile began to ring and the demon was surprised to find out it was Shoto who called back.

"Hello-"

"You bastard! Why didn't you call me back?! I hate you! I hate you so much that I miss you! Are you ok?!"

"... Wow your boyfriend sounds desperate, I'll leave you alone now." The nurse giggled and walked away, leaving Vox chuckled a little.

"... Was I that loud?" Shoto asked.

"What do you think?" Vox smirked.

"...Also, I'm not your boyfriend..." Shoto weakly added, though it did not sound convincing.

"Whatever you say, my boy." Vox hissed a little because of the pain his body was feeling. "I'm fine... Had a car crash actually, and I just woke up like a few hours ago."

"Gosh you okay?" Shoto sounded very worried. "I'm sorry I was mad at you not being able to stream with me... I was so mad that I yelled and cursed multiple times in front of Chat... I-"

"It's ok it's ok, you didn't know." Vox closed his eyes, he felt tired. "Hey, I really need some rest now. I'm just calling to tell you I'm ok."

"Ok... Ok... Get well soon, please. I'll see you next time-"

"Wait, Shoto." Vox remembered one last thing before his body put him back to sleep.

"Yes?"

"I'm coming to visit you." Vox claimed.

"I think it's time for me to meet my sweet demon boy, don't you think?"
