To be honest I was still pissed at Aaron.
It was lunch time and basically all of us sat together, and also now that Dan and I have been good friends, he joins us too. But today what happened was totally unbelievable. "Hey Taylor! Come join us!" Aaron called out to Taylor, as he was searching for familiar faces he could find. "Thank heaven I found ya'll. Mind if I sit here?" He asked taking a seat next to me. Such a prick!
"What the hell is your boyfriend doing, Sam?!" I whisper-yelled at Sam. "I don't know. C'mon Nat. Just be nice, he's new here and doesn't know anyone here except for us. At least show some concern towards him. Please?" Sam told me with the pleading look in her eyes. "NO! Don't force me, Sam! I am not going to show any concern or shit for him!" Aaron was looking at me with a very strange what-the-hell-he-is-sitting-next-to-you-and-you-are-talking-shit-about-him look. "What Aaron? Is there any problem?" I asked him giving him an annoying look. "Can't you be normal for just one freaking DAY?!" Now he was the one creating a scene.
God! How did Sam even handle him?! "Whatever Samuels!" I ignored him and concentrated on my food. "So, you are the new kid? Huh?" I heard Beth starting an awkward conversation and trying to make the atmosphere a little bit peaceful. "Yeah". "Hi, I'm Beth. And that's Nathan, Stacy, Gwen and Daniel." She said pointing out to everyone sitting at the table except for the three of us. I heard a chorus of 'hi's' as everyone there told 'Hey Taylor'. Dan just gave him a half smile and I am glad he did that. At least someone was there who also hated Taylor! Thank you Dan for that.
I pushed the chair making everybody to stop their conversation with 'Taylor the Great' and look at me. "I'm done with all this crap going on here! Sam, are you coming? Or want to sit with your boyfriend and his cousin?" Sam gives me an eye action which said 'I have to be with Aaron, you know how he is.' "Fine! I'm off!" I told and walked off when I heard Aaron say something to Sam as I was just few inches away. "Why can't she be a normal human being?" What the hell? I am normal okay? "I heard that Samuels!" I shouted walking away from there.
"Hey Nat! Wait up!" I hear Dan shout from behind. Yayy! Got a company. "Dan? What're you doing here? Go sot with them. I guess I have to find another place to sit." I told him sounding upset. "You don't need to do that Nat! If you don't want to sit with him, you can surely sit with me. It's no big deal. Just ignore him. Not that he's going to kill you for not talking to him."
BLACK HAIRED BOY WITH HAZEL EYES SAY WHAT?!
I could sit with him? Oh my God! This was like a dream to sit with him, and he just told me that!
Somebody just pinch me hard!
Nat! How many times do I have to remind you that both of you are just friends!
Sheesh! FINE brain, just friends! HAPPY?!
"Um... Are you sure about that? I mean..." I was surprised and that changed my angry bird mood into the normal happy me mood. "Duh... I mean, we're cool with each other right?" He gave me a half smile. Oh my God! His half smile was the one I fell for! Stop it Dan! Stop doing that! Stop making me feel how butterflies felt like! "Right!" I smacked his arm. "Let's go sit now." He demanded. "Actually, Dan. I'm honestly done with this. So I don't want to go back there. I just want some fresh air, so gonna go out for some time. Wanna join?" Did I just ask him to join me for a walk? "Uhh... Sure, just a minute." He agrees? He gets his bag and other stuff and leads me to the front door.
The walk went well and we were back again to our class where I had to see that prick's face. Was it so necessary that Principle Sanders had to give admission to this kid?
Anyways, luckily I had Dan who accompanied me most of the day, and I couldn't believe that Aaron had not spoken to me the whole day after what happened at lunch and nor did Sam tell him anything. What happened to my best friend suddenly? We knew each other since we were little and now suddenly after his cousin came in, he totally changed. I swear this kid is going to pay for ruining my friendship with Aaron.
