"Why has he summoned us this early?", asked Sid as he lazily climbed the stairs. "I think it's about the new werewolf pack, they maybe having some space issues!". "Oh shut it, Abhi! It's not that bad here", shouted Kavya angrily. After a few more flights they finally reached the library where Mr. Sharma stood waiting for them. "Finally!", he said as he saw Sid, Abhi and Kavya approach him. Mr. Sharma was usually a very humble and patient soul, but the ever growing nuisance of demons is bad enough to drive anyone insane.
The library was huge, the largest in the city as the students said. Books were neatly lined all around the hall into separate sections like Ancient Runes, Spell books, Demonology, Weaponry along with the usual history, geography stuff. The library was Sid's favourite escape whenever he was upset. After the usual exchange of greetings Mr. Sharma asked the trio to sit. Seeing the worried look on professor Sharma's face, Abhi asked him what the matter was. "Oh! The usual. There has been a tremendous increase in demonic activity in the past few weeks and there are no other students mature enough to look into the matter, so I want you three to investigate this case, find out what's causing this increased activity and report to me. Last night the demons were spotted near the museum area, be careful kids!" They nodded and headed straight for the weapons room.
After ten minutes the boys were ready and annoyed waiting for Kavya. "I look perfect!", she exclaimed as she strapped the dagger on her belt. Her black hunting gear was complete with her straight brown hair and deep gray eyes. 'Killing Beauty' as she was, Kavya had brought down more demons than any girl her age. "You must know you nearly spent thirty minutes to put on your gear", Sid said following Abhi out of the room. "Let's get started", said Abhi as they left the academy behind.
