"I DIDN'T KNOW doing push ups on your knuckles was a thing," Alyssa admitted.

Although they were training at the dojo together now, Sensei LaRusso still had the Eagle Fang's and Sensei Lawrence still had the Miyagi-Do's. While Sensei LaRusso and the Eagle Fang's were doing their own exercises around the koi pond, Sensei Lawrence had the Miyagi-Do's doing push-ups on the sparring deck.

Alyssa could do normal push-ups. That was whatever. She had built up her strength from karate and they were fine. But doing it on her knuckles was way harder, and she was struggling.

It felt like she had been doing knuckle push-ups for about a thousand years before they moved on. Sensei Lawrence put mats over his hands, and they had to do a kick-punch combo one by one. Alyssa was first in line. She shook her hands out before raising her fists.

"Attack," Sensei Lawrence instructed.

Alyssa lifted her right leg up and kicked, her foot making contact with one of the mats. She let her leg fall before punching twice with her left hand and once with her right.

"Nice, Fairy Princess," Sensei Lawrence told her, and Alyssa high-fived Sam as she got back in line while Chris moved forwards. "Attack."

Sensei Lawrence, however, got distracted by Miguel sparring with Sensei Lawrence, which caused Demetri to kick him right in the face. That then caused Demetri to now have cushions duct-taped onto him while he was attached to the punching bag with a gag in his mouth. Unfortunate for him, but pretty funny to Alyssa.

"All right, remember, one of the best ways to get a point is to aim for the torso," Sensei Lawrence announced. He then struck Demetri right in the torso, causing him to groan in pain. "All right, front kick, side kick. Ready? Go!"

Despite Demetri's noises of protest, one by one, they went up to him and practiced their kicks. Sensei Lawrence complimented them on their form, occasionally making comments so they could improve. Alyssa went right after Sam, approaching Demetri while wincing.

"Sorry, Dem," Alyssa said.

She then lifted up her leg and kicked him right in the stomach before turning to the side and doing it again. Alyssa gave him an apologetic smile before wandering off towards the back in line. As she did, she snuck a glance into the house, where the Eagle Fang's were doing meditation with Sensei LaRusso.
