Happy birthday

Yeeun sat in her room a pen in her hand as she wrote in her journal, all the lights in her room were out, the only thing lighting the room was her lamp. The light tapping sounds of her new kitten prancing around the room. The small white kitten jumped on her desk rubbing his face against Yeeun's a arm.

She smiled at the kitten, placing her pen down and picking him up she looked up at her kitten nuzzling her nose against his.
" Okay, okay, I'll go to bed Hak." She responded to her kitten, he meowed making her giggle and close her journal. Getting up from her chair she noticed the time, 11:50 pm. Just 10 more minutes till her birthday, she sighed moving to her bed she let her cat jump on her bed. She closed her eyes, she never really enjoyed her birthday

She just thought it wasn't worth all the excitement it was made up to be. She opened her eyes 11:58 pm, 2 more minutes till she would a plethora of messages. She closed her eyes tighter. A small ding followed by a multiple dings and vibrations, she hated it.

She woke up from her cat's meowing and scratching at her door, she stumbled to the door opening it, she walked into the bathroom taking a bath she let herself soak in the bubbles. After a while she come out of the bathroom, drying her hair with a towel she sat down on her bed.

Nocking on her door she fixed her hair, grabbed a random button up shirt and baggy jeans. She ran to the door, opening it a smile appeared on her face.
" Sungchan-ah! Why are you here?" She asked

" I knew it was a special day today, so I came over to drop off something for you, before practice!" He said handing her a gift bag, taking it she smiled at him letting him enter her apartment before Hakyeon could run out.

" Oh Sungchan, that's so thoughtful thank you." She exclaimed

" I hope you like, Seol-Ah and Tiffany helped me pick it out." He responded, he seemed really flustered and shy mentioning her best friends.
" Well I'm sure I'll love, especially if I had three of my closet friends picking it out."

" Yeah, oh! I have to get going or else I'll be late to practice, see you later Yeeun! Have a good birthday!" He yelled walking out of her apartment, she waved goodbye slamming it before her kitten could escape.

Staring at the gift bag she didn't know what to do, she saw how flustered he looked when giving it to her. It was a light yellow gift bag, it had a cartoon cat on it with a party hat. She thought it was adorable, but she didn't want to open it yet. Her phone rang from her room, she picked it up seeing it was her manager. Sitting on her couch she answered the phone bitting her finger nervously.

" Hey what's up."

" Hey Yeeun I was just wondering if you were going to come down to the company soon. You have to do your birthday live soon."

" Oh, I wasn't planning on going today Unnie."

" Why not? We're having everything set up right now..."

" I know, I know it's an inconvenience to you all, but I just don't feel like I- I just don't feel good, I might be coming down with something and I'd hate getting everyone sick."

" How sick do you feel? You know you're fans will get disappointed."

" I don't think I can be in front of the camera type sick."

" Yeeun..."

" I'm sorry. I'll try to do it tomorrow."

" You better."

" I know."

The call ended, finally. She did lie, at least a little. She didn't feel like being on camera and she was feeling a bit ill, but she couldn't do it. Looking at her phone she scrolled through the happy birthday messages she got from fans and friends, everyone but her members messaged her. She knew that they're probably busy with their own schedule, practice was cancelled so they told her to stay home and enjoy her day off.
