Ruby was quite strong, he held you, and three large tree trunks in his palms and tail without breaking a sweat. His set of hands dragged the trunks behind him while his tail did the same.

He came back to the spot next to the pond and put you down. Blythe was back with a mountain of different sea creatures he had put in a pile on shore. Sea slugs, clams, crabs, shrimp and some fish. They all looked a little off, the crab's pinchers seemed to have human finger nails at the end. The fishes eyes and teeth were human like. And the slugs and clams had long human like tongues.

Ruby made some clicks with his tongue speaking to Blythe and Blythe nodded clicking back before diving into the pond again.

Soon he came back with a large, grey and wet piece of stone with a black chunk sticking out of it . He held it in his tentacles before placing it on shore next to the pile. Ruby clicked again and Blythe dived in the water going to look for what he needed.

You watched them in awe as they worked together so seamlessly.

"A-anything I can do to help?" You asked.

Ruby smiled and walked over to you kissing your forehead. "You do good already!" He said giving you a pet on the head. He instructed you to sit down on a nearby stump.

He then went back to the stone and began to chew at it with his sharp teeth, easily cutting away the gray bits of gravel and taking the flint for himself. You were surprised to see him gingerly cutting a good sized piece of wood before he pounded the flint into it making a make-shift hatchet.

Ruby went right to work with his hatchet beginning to slice and cut the trunks of the trees quite easily. You watched him work with such admiration, you thought he would be feral but Ruby's pretty intelligent. They did say they went to 'school' or something but, you found him in a cave...

You heard water part and saw Blythe come from the pond with his cheeks filled with something. Ruby put his hatchet down and flew over a bit and began to draw a huge square in the dirt with his claws. He made a few clicks with his tongue and Blythe nodded beginning emptying his left cheek. Out came a lot- of sandy, grey like minerals that filled in the square's outline. Ruby fixed the sides before nodding to Blythe. The octopus emptied its right cheek and out came water. It covered the base and the dust began to clump together forming wet slate of concrete from the amount of water he was spewing at it.

"Woah! You're making a house foundation?!" You asked in curiosity and Ruby nodded at your words with a smile. Blythe shrugged. "I don't know what's going on! I'm just doing what the bat tells me too!" He giggled.

"Am I doing good human?!"

"You're doing great!" You smiled.

"Yay!" Blythe exclaimed clapping his tentacles together, they made a squish sound. Ruby came to you and petted you with his bat hand, taking a small break since the foundation was hardening. "Hungry?" He asked you. You thought about it and nodded.

"I'll feed her!"

"No!"

"She have enough milk today!"

Ruby exclaimed knowing the outcomes of you 'overdosing' on breastmilk. Blythe frowned as he didn't get to feed you. "She need food now." Ruby said as he didn't mean to be mean to Blythe but he didn't want Blythe to harm you.

Ruby then gathered some dead leafs and twigs. He placed them in a pile. Then he called to Blythe "Lilly flame". Blythe seemed to understand as he dipped into the water once more. He soon came back up rather quickly cupping a wet? blue flame sitting on top of a large plant that looked like a Lilly pad.
