COBRA KAI HAD BEEN growing substantially, and with it, Megan's fury and rage. As new dojos opened and new students were welcomed, Megan found herself in the flagship dojo more and more. Training after hours, workouts late at night, even training by herself at home. It was the only way to put out the flames that took over her and lessen the anger that stirred in her.
It had been a week since her and Robby's official break up in his room. Neither one of them texted and called. Neither one of them knew what to say. It was officially the end, at least until there was nothing more that stood in between them.
Cobra Kai had officially broken them apart and Megan thought it was for good this time.
"The world is made up of two kinds of people. Leaders and followers. Cobra Kai, like a military unit, needs both to function successfully. So... we're gonna divide you up into pairs." Silver tells the students as they stand in front of him on the mats.
"The goal of each pair is to score a point against an opponent who outmatches you. Only strong leadership will allow you to prevail."
"Sensei Kim will take the girls. Boys, you'll stay here and spar with Sensei Odell. All right. Split up."
Megan shuffles through the group toward Sensei Kim and the other girls before she takes a seat on the mats.
Sensei Kim walks around the mats, looking at the girls before Megan notices her eyes catch on her. "Nichols."
Megan stands up. "Yes, Sensei."
Kim looks over her shoulder at Tory. "You too."
"Yes, Sensei." Tory stands up and the two girls bow to each other from across the mat before Tory walks toward Megan. They bow to Kim.
"Fighting stance." Megan and Tory let out a grunt before holding their fists up. Sensei Kim does the same.
Tory nods at Megan when she looks at her, causing her to lunge for Sensei Kim. Megan throws her fists around before she earns a kick to her temple. "Damn it."
