Chapter 13 - Cheated

After 3 months of being friends with Greggy, my parents has finally agreed to let him court me. I'm not saying "yes" yet, but I've decided to tell him later.

Right now, it is 7:45 in the morning. I am currently preparing because I’m going to surprise Greggy later in his house. I also ate my breakfast already.

My family doesn't know any of my plans yet. I want to surprise them.

And also, for your information, I decided not to go with business, but instead I'll stick with directing. I love it so much, and I know that I am enjoying it. Unlike in business, I barely enjoy it. It's just not my thing.

"Ate!" Someone shouted. When I looked at it, it's Bongbong, together with Liza.

"Yes?"

"Liza wanted to ask you something daw." He said, and pushed Liza slightly towards me.

"Ano ka ba, wag mo nga akong itulak!" Liza exclaimed, and slapped Bonget's arms. Bongbong then laughed, and apologized.

"Ano ba naman yan. Come, Liza. Anong itatanong mo?" I said and approached Liza, who's rubbing her back. Mabigat ang kamay nitong si Bong e, kahit mahina lang yung pagkakatulak.

"Hi, ate Imee." She greeted me first, smiling.

"Hello!"

"I just want to ask you po if si Greggy Araneta yung nanliligaw sayo?" She asked

"Yes, Greggy Araneta. Why?" I answered then asked, raising my left eyebrow.

"Uhm, he's my cousin po in father side hehe." She said, chuckling. Ang dami naman atang may kilala kay Gorio, mostly mga kakilala ko pa. First, si Betty cousin daw niya sa mother side. Second, ito naman si Liza, cousin daw sa father side.

"Oh, ganun ba? What a small world! Hahaha!" I said, we all laughed.

We headed to the kitchen to prepare some food. Liza said she's already hungry. Hindi ata nakapag breakfast, kinaon ng maaga nitong ading ko.

"Ate, oh." Liza said, while handing me a cupcake.

"Ay hindi na, sa inyo nalang. I'm full pa e, and may pupuntahan pa din ako later."

"Where?"Asked Bongbong.

"Basta, hindi niyo na kailangan malaman. Uuwi din naman ako, pagkatapos na pagkatapos nun." I said, and smiled.

"Naku ate, baka mamaya may ibang lalaki ka, ha!" Bongbong teased me. I gave him a death glare, that made him stop from laughing. Liza, on the other hand, was secretly laughing also.

I slapped Bongbong’s arm, and said "Ano ba! Hindi ako lalakero, ano! Mahal ko si Greg, siya lang. Kaya manahimik ka jan kung ayaw mong habulin ulit kita ng itak."

"Ang ate ko naman, hindi mabiro. Joke lang iyun, ate. Hehehe." He said, laughing nervously. I smirked at him.

"I'll leave you two here, punta muna ako sa room ko. Aalis na din ako, e. Goodbye, lovebirds!" I said, and smiled at them. Both of them just waved their hands.

As I think of what'd be the possible scenarios lately, someone called in my phone. When I looked at it, it was Irene who's calling.

In call

:Hello, Irene?

:Hi ate! Where are you?

:I’m in the Palace. How about you? Hindi kita nakita dito kanina. Umalis ka ba, or you're just in your room?

:Oh, wala ako jan. Umalis po ako kanina.

:Really? Where are you, bunso?

:You don't need to know naman, it's not important. By the way, pupunta ka ba later kina Kuya Greggy?

:Aba, I need to know kaya. Ate mo ako, kaya dapat I know kung nasaan ka. Also, pati na rin kay Bongbong. I am your leader kaya! Hahaha, joke.

:Hay nako ate, basta wag mo nang alamin. So, pupuntahan mo ba mamaya si Kuya Greggy?

:Fine, basta mag ingat ka! And to answer your question, no. Hindi ko siya pupuntahan later. Bakit mo natanong?

:Ah, wala naman ate. Sige na, I need to end this call na. Bye, love you!

:Bye!

Call ended

I lied to Irene, kasi dapat ako lang talaga ang makakaalam. Baka mamaya ay mabuking e.

Anyway, I decided na magpunta na sa bahay nila Greggy. Ayaw ko nang patagalin pa ito, dahil sa malalim at di kapani-paniwalang rason.

After 30 minutes, I've arrived in his house. I rang the doorbell, and their maid opened it. Pinapasok niya ako sa living room, but walang tao. She informed me that Greggy is in his room, so I decided to go there.

When I got there, I opened the door and nakita ko ang sisira sa buhay ko.

I saw Greggy and Irene doing something that is only for married couples. They are doing the “S” thing.

I was totally in shock, seeing my soon to be boyfriend cheating on me, and the worst part is si Irene pa talaga, my little sister.

They stopped kissing when they both saw me standing while crying at the door.

Greggy immediately wore his clothes and walk towards me. But as soon as he reach me, I ran out of their house as fast as I could. I entered my car, and started driving in a really fast speed. There's no traffic naman, so dere-deretso lang ako. While driving, I'm also crying.

But, a policeman stopped me, and said “ Ma'am, overspeed na ho kayo. ”

When he saw me, he got startled and said " Ma'am Imee, kayo po pala iyan. Bakit ho ba ang bilis ninyo? It's against the rules po."

"Pasensya, hindi na po mauulit." I said and smiled forcedly. "Here, please take this as a peace offering po." I handed him a 500 pesos, bid my goodbye and started driving again.

When I parked my car in the Palace, I immediately went out of it and ran inside, towards my room. I heard someone calling my name, but I ignored it since I got hurt so much.
