Karan :- Doctor Doctor please look at her..... karan started screaming as they reached the hospital.
His whole shirt was covered in blood.

Doctor :- Please take her quickly in the operation theatre

Karan :- Please please save her.

Doctor :- Dont worry. We will try our best.
Doctor left.

Karan hugged Shivin and started crying.
Shivin :- Sunny please be strong. She will be fine. Sherni hai wo nothing will happen to her.

Karan's and Teju's parents reached hospital.
Aai :- Where is Teju ??
Shivin :- In the operation theatre.

Aai and Mom started crying.

Karan :- Sorry Aai and Mumma i couldnt protect her. I m really sorry.

Aai hugs him.

It is not your fault beta. Dont worry. I know my daughter she will be fine. She is a fighter.

It was almost 4 hours still there wasnt any news.

Suddenly the OT's light went off. The doctor came out.
Karan :- Doctor how is she ??
Doctor :- She is out of danger. Dont worry. We were able to remove bullet from her body. Your girl is a fighter.
Everyone were happy hearing this.

Aai :- Can we meet her.

Doctor :- You can meet her but now she will be unconscious.
But only 1 person can stay with her at night.

As the doctor left...
Everyone went inside to see her.
They all were numb seeing her situation.

Karan's heart broke after seeing her girl.

Karan :- My little girl 🥺

Nurse :- The visiting hour is over. Please only one person can stay here.

Aai :- I will stay. You people go and take some rest

Karan :- No Aai. I m not leaving Teju.

Aai :- Karan look at you.
You look so tired. Your shirt is covered with blood. So go and take rest.

Karan :- No i wont leave her.

Aai :- But....

Mom :- Let him stay. He wont listen. We will come to see her tomorrow.
Everyone left.

After 6 hours....

Teju opens her eyes. She hisses in pain.
She was about to move her hand when she felt someone holding it.

Karan was holding her hand while his head resting on the bed.
He was sleeping.

Her heart broke looking at him. He looked so exhausted. Teju caresses his hair slowly.

Karan quickly woke up.

Teju :- Sunny....

Karan hugs her tightly.....

Teju :- Ouch.....

Karan :- I am sorry I am sorry... did i hurt you ?? Should i call the doctor. Wait i will quickly call the doctor.
Teju pecks his lips...

Teju :- Sunny Sunny calm down. I am ok....
What time is it ??

Karan :- 4 am

Teju :- You need to sleep you look exhausted. Go sleep on that sofa.
Karan :- No i m not leaving you.

Teju :- Sunny the sofa is right there.

Karan :- No i m not leaving you.

Teju :- Come here then. We will share our bed.

Karan :- Baby i might hurt you while sleeping.

Teju :- You will never hurt me. Come here.
Karan moved beside her carefully.
Karan started crying.....
You scared me baby. You scared me.

Teju :- I am sorry Sunny.
She wipes his tears and pecks his lips.

Karan :- I love you.

Teju :- I love you too.
Karan placed his head on her chest.
Both of them slept cuddling each other.

Next morning Teju woke up
She was caressing Karan's hair who was feeling peacefully.

After sometime the nurse enters the room to check on her

Nurse :- Ma'am..
Teju :- Please let him sleep. He was very exhausted.

Nurse smiles :- He really loves you. He was crying non stop.  You are very lucky.

Teju :- Yes I am lucky.
She kisses her forehead.

Karan wakes up...

Karan :- Baby are u okay ?? Are you in pain ?

Teju :- No baby i am ok.

Nurse :- Sir can you please go out. I want to clean the wound.

Karan :- No i am not going anywhere.

Nurse :- It will hardly take 10 15 mins. Please let me do my work.

Karan :- No i said.

The nurse was annoyed
Teju :- Its okay nurse let him stay you can continue dressing.

Karan and nurse both gave look to each other.

Teju rolled her eyes seeing them.

Nurse started dressing.
Teju hisses in pain.

"For god sake can you do it slowly. You are hurting her" karan yelled

Nurse glared at Karan.
Teju :- Sunny stop !!!
I am sorry nurse. Please ignore him.

He whisper in teju's ear 'I dont like her'
Teju hits him on his shoulder.

"I heard that and yes the feelings are mutual" the nurse said rolling her eyes.

"Please call me if you need anything" she said to teju and left.
