Chapter 2.1 The Imperial Palace

Are you coming?
Those words echoed in my head over and over again. I was laying on a patch of grass with the sun beaming on my skin. It felt like I was having a warm bath. But instead, reality came crawling back to me.
"Hayden! Wake up!" Jacob shouted,
"Wh..What is it?" I mumbled whilst I came back to my feet.
"Look!" Jacob pointed at Madison and Maya being chased by a lady. In a pale, dangly white dress. And hair as black as the night sky. But what was more important. Was her neck. Her neck cracked and stretched trying to capture Madison and Maya.
As the girls screamed, I noticed a shattered piece of glass on the ground from an oil lamp. So I grabbed a shard of glass covered in black oil. I ran up to the tall lady and..

I jammed it in her back. Her neck turned around and just like a snake, it slithered up to me. We were now face to face. Her eyes turned black and she started screaming.
"Upstairs everyone! Go!" Jayden shouted.
Quivering in.fear we ran upstairs.
The lady was crashing into bookshelves and knocking them over. Books went soaring into the air and blood spilled on the carpet and walls.
Madison pulled out a key that would open up the door behind us. We all ran out of the library into a vintage hallway.

Chapter 2-2 Whispers Of A Samurai

As we ran, we could hear her piercing cries,
"YOU LITTLE BRATS! AUGHH!"
But then. Everything stopped. We heard whispers of an old tale.

"There once was a servant of the imperial palace. Called Megumi. She loved working in the library of the castle. She always liked reading tales, myths and novels. She only read in the library. She didn't actually clean the bookshelves or dust the top of the rails upstairs. She just wanted to read. But then one day. She found out about the prince. Prince Nomi. Reading about him. She fell in love with his charismatic yet caring personality. She then found a picture of him. And all she thought was.. Those bright green eyes.. His handsome smile.. He's surely my prince.. Shortly. She found out that Prince Nomi was moving into the Imperial Palace. So she began to work all around the palace. She was head over heels for Nomi. But then.. She got to meet him. She did a curtsee in front of him and expressed her passion for his kindness. He then told her to follow him. So she did. He led her to a dark room in the library. He then told her to sit down in a chair in the middle of the dark room. She heard a laugh. It was a woman's laugh. Confused, she tried to get up off of the chair. But she couldn't. Black tentacles covered her arms and legs. She screamed for help. But nobody could hear her. A shadowy feminine figure appeared in front of her. The figure put her hands onto Megumi's neck and started to lift it up. Megumi was in agony as her neck grew and grew. She then passed out. And that shadowy figure were to never be seen again."

We then woke up on a grassy island. There were bridges going up to a gateway. So we begun to walk up the bridges. But I saw something. A Shadow figure with wavy black hair flowing in the wind holding on to her big black summer hat. And her long black dress soared elegantly in the wind too. I took a step back.. And then it dissapeared. "Hey.. I know what we just saw was shocking but.. let's keep moving. Okay?" Madison remarked.
"Yeah.. Sorry." I replied as we pulled the lever for the big gateway.
A stone statue of a samurai on a throne sat peacefully on the withered, grey grass. We walked past it casually until. I turned around. I saw it stand up.

"EVERYONE RUN!" I Shouted.
The Stone Samurai quickly began to chase us. We saw a door not that far ahead. So we kept running. And running until we reached it.

Chapter 2-3 Spirits Of The Dammed

We crashed into the door, breaking it down into the ground. But luckily, the door was too small for the tall samurai. But, we realised something.
Something was missing. Jayden.. "Where's Jayden?" Maya asked,
"I'm not sure.." Jacob replied
"Does that mean he.." Madison speculated.
"No.." I said in a shaky voice.
"Come on. I'm sure he's fine." Madison said as she kept walking down the corridor.
So we did.
All of a sudden. A flowy white butterfly flew elegantly in front of me,

"Hello little one, are you lost?" It Said in a calm voice.
"I.. Guess.." I replied,
"This Place has no fright. Only spirits of the forgotten and bright souls like me."
"Hey Hayden! Grab that key in front of you!" Madison remarked.
"The butterfly?" I replied.
"Stop joking! Grab the key!" Madison commanded.
I sighed as I grabbed the butterfly.
"Wait no! You don't know what you're doing!-" it squealed.
I let it go near the shining green door.
But it simply turned black, then it flew off somewhere.
We walked through the doorway finding loads of butterflies.
We grabbed more except for Madison.
"You guys go grab the keys, I'll wait at the door!" Madison said in a happy voice.
"Those aren't keys.." Whispered Jacob.
"Then why does she think they are?" Maya replied.
"I don't know, but let's keep going." I said.
We crossed a bridge and came across a very big sakura tree. It had a seal on it that said, Here lies the accursed witch. But, the chains were broken..
" Come on guys!" Madison shouted from at the top of the hill.
So we started running up it.

We opened the door with our butterflies and walked down an ominous hallway with red lights. It converted into the hallway from the school. Then The Hotel. But, something new. An Asylum pr a Hospital.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 2.4 Dolls

Across this converted hallway, was a doll. She had straight, long black hair with a white dress and red ribbons tied around the Dolls dress.
We saw it's head move up then down.
"Don't be scared guys. It's probably our imagination." Madison told us.
We nodded and continued down the corridors of the Hospital / Asylum.
