Dino, Vernon, and T8 were resting after the practice while the elders still catching up with the choreographer. Right after the practice, Mingyu was on his phone. Smiling while playing with it. Seungkwan is the one who notices him first.

"Mingyu hyung looks suspicious," Seungkwan said while sipping the water. Seungcheol heard it and took a look at the younger.

"Seems like he was talking with someone," Hoshi added. Seungcheol stops the practice and walks toward Mingyu who is still on his phone.

"Who are you texting with?" He asked the younger. Mingyu looked up when heard a familiar voice.

"Jungkook and Kai. We are talking about Kai's crop top. We are teasing him." Mingyu said while texting. Seungcheol tries to look at the phone and sees the conversation. He feels a bit relieved.

"Well, I'm going to get some food for us. What do you want?" He asked.

"Anything is fine. Anyway, Y/N asking if you going to pick up her today. She tells me that her class was cancelled and she going to be home early." Mingyu said.

"Why didn't she tell me?" Seungcheol asked a bit curious. Mingyu frowned at his question.

"Did you check your phone today? I didn't see you with it at all. Also, why did you guys didn't with your phones? Y/N keeps bugging me asking that you guys ignore her today. You guys know how sensitive she is but still, you didn't give her attention." Mingyu said with disappointment. Everyone went silent to hear that.

"We are busy with practice," Jun said.

"I guess I should pick her up instead of you, hyung," Mingyu said. He grabs his bag and jacket with him before leaving the studio.

Mingyu froze to see what just happened in front of him. He never had seen Y/N become like that. She was crying and almost passed out in front of him.

"Why? Why are they doing this to me?" She said after tired of crying. She turns to him with teary eyes.
"Are you gonna leave me too, Oppa? Am I a burden? Eomma and appa don't want me and now... Oppa also don't-"

"Shhh. Don't say that. Everyone loves you. We all love you okay? Just... They are busy with work." He comforts her with a hug.

"Oppa... I'm... Dizzy." She suddenly said with tired eyes.
"Don't leave... Me." She said before closing her eyes and tightening the hug.

"I won't. I'll be here." He said and carried her to his room since the others always locked their room before leaving.

Mingyu put Y/N on the bed and was about to change himself when she mumbled the same thing as before. She keeps asking him to not leave her. Mingyu feels bad about it. He slowly sits on the bed and caresses her hair. He wipes the tears and caresses her cheek. He was staring at her with love. His mind keeps saying that he wants to protect her and doesn't want to leave her alone.

Mingyu was deeply staring at her and didn't realize that he was leaning toward the sleeping girl. Y/N was still dizzy and sleepy when she felt something soft on her lips. It feels good. Mingyu was taken aback when he felt that she giving a response. He was shocked and opened his eyes to see her closing her eyes while kissing him back. He wants to stop but his mind is blanked by the situation.

Y/N was breathing heavily and Mingyu had to stop what he had just done. He regretted what just happened thinking that he taking advantage of the poor girl. He stares at her and notices her sweating.

"Oppa... So cold." She mumbles.

"Y/N. You got a fever. I'll make something for you and take your meds. Cover yourself. I'll be back." He said and went to the kitchen to make something for her to eat before taking meds. While making a porridge, he keeps sighing think what just happened up there a while ago.

"What I just did? Kim Mingyu, you are stupid." He was mad at himself because he just taking advantage of the sick girl. He sighs for the last time before going back to his room. Since he was at home, he decided to just take a break from the practice. He took his phone from the table and called someone to tell them that he would take a break for a couple of days.

Meanwhile, the members were waiting for Mingyu to continue the practice. Joshua who just coming out from the toilet enters the studio.

"Mingyu won't be here for a while. Y/N is sick and he needs to take care of her since we are 'busy'." Joshua said while looking at the leader. Seungcheol was a bit guilty about it. What Mingyu had said was true. He has always been at work and didn't have time for his sister. Everyone was busy but still, they had time for their family but he was not like the others.

"Hyung... Should we take a break for a couple of days? We are busy for a week. Y/N might feel lonely." Vernon suggests.

"How come Mingyu has a lot of time? He is busier than us." Dino interrupts.

"Someone who is big-hearted like him won't get tired when seeing someone he loves the most. " DK said like he knew something that they did not know.

"I think everyone notices how much Mingyu cares about your sister. As we know his sister doesn't like how protective he is. Both of them feel lonely and I think that makes them understand each other more." Joshua added.

"Did you guys try to say that all my fault?" Seungcheol said.

"Y/N is YOUR sister. Instead of us, she needs you more. Mingyu is just a friend of yours. He won't stay with her forever. He also has his own life." Jeonghan said while the maknae line just watching them.

"I agree with them. How about I give you a break for a week? You should talk to your sister and settle down everything with her first." Their manager said.
"Also, Mingyu has a photo shoot. He might not be able to with you." He added when remembering Mingyu's schedule.

"Thank you, hyung," Seungcheol said. The manager excused himself to leave as well as the members.

As soon as they arrived at their house, it was silent. As if no one was at home. Joshua remembered that Mingyu said he wanted to take a rest in his room. While Seungcheol went to his room to see his sister who was sharing a room with him. Once he entered his room, he was surprised that it was locked as if she was not home. He unlocked the door and saw no one in there.

Just then he went out and saw Mingyu just coming out from the bathroom. They stare at each other before Mingyu decides to enter his room.

"If you wonder where is she, she's in my room. Sleeping. She got a fever and I let her sleep here. Don't worry, I won't do anything to her." Mingyu said before he went from the elder's sight.

"How can she get a fever-"

"She was crying. For an hour. Do you expect to see her running around the house?" Mingyu said with disappointment. Seungcheol went to Mingyu's room and sat on the bed watching his sister while Mingyu put on his clothes.

"Did she take meds yet?" Seungcheol asked feeling her forehead.

"Yeah. I made her porridge and gave her meds. If you want to sleep here, I'll be in the living room." Mingyu said and went out of there.
