~First day~ Skyler's pov

It was the night right after we entered the immortal world. It was great. Just saying.

So we slept in the rooms prepared by Clarissa. They are in the Castle of Gods, in the sectioncalled The Chamber of Guardians. My room was as big as a tennis court, and it has everything –EVERYTHING- I need. It's awesome.

The whole room was decorated with blue, my favourite colour. It's got light blue hues, dark navy blues, and my absolute favourite, sky blue. The room has a white bed with black, vertical zig-zag patterns on it. It was soft and fluffy, just how I like it. It's so soft as it was made out of marshmallows. Oh, yes. Marshmallows...  Anyway.

The sky blue walls were filled with different sizes of white lightning bolts, laying in all directions. It looks as if it reflects my power. The floor was covered with a furry navy blue carpet, stetching to fill every corner of the room. It's even somehow got a way to teleport my electric guitar to the immortal world, which is a smash up of a light aquatic green and a blue black hue. I've been learning electric guitar since I was five. I'm pretty superb at it (self-promo section). Okay. Back to the room

It's got a nice classic, white cupboard, polished and all, decorated with circles of different shades of blue and purple. Inside the gorgeous cupboard are I'm guessing my new clothes. It's not my usual type but it'll do. They seem like casual, but a little badass clothes. However, they don't look as simple as they seem. There are secret contraptions in them which either holds my small, handy self-defence weapons, or has a gadget for morphing or teleportation. I've got leather jackets, combat boots ad a lot more. Even the necklaces and bracelets are magical. They can turn into a whip or rope of my desire. Okay. That sounded sexual.

My balcony has a nice glass fence. Looking out, is the everyday life of immortals and gods. It basically looks like a like developed city, except, everthing is floating. Yes. Floating.

My absolute favourite part of the room, is that there is a indoor swimming pool. A. Freaking. Swimming pool. It's even got an instored slide.

Jeez, the gods sure know how to please me.

I also took a tour in Ayden's room before I went to bed.

His room was just next to mine, which is fine. If I had a nightmare I could always go to his room anyway.

"Hi there, Skyler," he waved as I walked in.

"Wow! Your room's amazing!"

Now, clearly he loves orange.

The walls were different shades of orange. His bed was orange. Even his table tennis table, bats and balls were orange. He caught me staring at the Fanta ( the orange flavor of course) can on his table.

"Hey, if people drink alcohol and they are alcoholic," he started, pulling his invisible beard.

 "Yeah?"

"And I drink Fanta, will I be fantastic?"

We both laughed at his pun joke. He has always been the class clown. But all jokes aside, we had a nice chat there, about killing Dorothy and stuff.

He went to my room in return after my tour in his.

"So, what do you think?" I asked, flopping onto my bed, with my hands tucked under my head. He sat on the comfy carpet, bending his legs and wrapping his armed around them.

"It's gorgeous..." he sighed. His voice just suddenly didn't sound the same. I was such a sudden change. I knew  something was wrong. It was not his regular tone. I heard the depression in his voice. His dark blue eyes didn't shine like how they used to.

"Hey man, you okay?"

"I mean... I'm just scared man," he started, with his head drooping down onto his knees. His voice was muffled and unclear. "I... I just don't wanna die. Killing the goddess of Evil is easier said then done. I don't know if we will make it, Skyler. I have a lot of ambitions and dreams I wanna achieve and , I... I just don't want to die like this." He sounded like he was about to cry. "The pressure is on us, man. If we lose, the faults on us too. You know I can't handle pressure."

He lifted his head slowly and looked into my eyes. His blue eyes were starting to tear up, and they seemed to tell me that he was very nervous and wasn't cool with the idea of saving the God empire. I felt that it's all my fault.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." I stuttered. " I thought you were the only one that could help the Gods. My senses told me that you are a suitable choice." I sat up on my bed and brushed my hair to one side. " you're strong, brave, calm. You are skillful, talented, encouraging. I just thought you would like these kind of adventure like this. I shouldn't have chosen you. I shouldn't have whisked you here without your agreement. " My head dropped this time.

I was guilty. Really guilty. If Ayden don't have a heart or the passion to save the gods, then our strengths would be lower. Then the gods might not be able to be saved, and they're doomed. Then add insult to injury, we are both doomed, too. My head lifted back up after that thought.

"No."

"What?"

"You chose me for a reason. Out of the billions of people in the world you chose me. I am not letting yu down. I am not letting the Gods down."

"Dude..."

"What?"

"... You're so deep."

He laughed, lying down on the comfy carpet. His blond hair lied on his forehead, it looked smooth and soft.
