Walking around this country feels different. A lot of technological advancements. Peculiar people with powers and mutations becomes the norm. It seems like power reigns supreme. Just as I was about to come in a government building, a guy very huge started attacking.

"Should I help?" I said out loud.

"Don't bother. Some hero will come and save the day. Just go about your activities." The guard said.

"What can I do for you?" The clerk asked.

"I'm here to retrieve my inheritance from a woman named Eden. Here's her will which states that all her enterprise, property, money and possessions be given to me." I said giving her the will.

"Eden enterprise!? One of the longest standing and powerful business empires ever?! Who are you?" The clerk asked while the other employees looked at the will checking it's authenticity.

"My name is Jing Feng. Eden's descendant." I said.

"Unfortunately sir, we cannot give you the property." The manager said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"We have to prove that this is legitimate. There's no known record on who will inherit the property of Eden." The manager said.

This guy just wants to drag this on to get the property.

"I'm pretty sure there's nothing you can do. Whatever is on the will is the thing you guys must follow. It has the legitimate signature of Eden. There's no way you can't give the possessions to me." I said.

"Sir, this is just natural procedures." The manager reasoned.

"It's not." A voice said.

"That procedure is bogus. He has all the rights if its signed by Eden herself. And luckily, I'm here to fetch him." A guy in a suit said.

"And who are you?" The manager asked.

"The descendant of the lawyer who attested to Eden's will. I'm here to fetch and welcome him. This is a copy of Eden's signature and it clearly matches the fingerprint I brought as well." The guy passed a bunch of papers.

The manager looked at it and saw it's legitimate testimony. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"Very well. Please proceed your day. We will sort out the rest with your lawyer." The manager said bitterly whole giving me back the will.

"Young master, please follow me. We'll go to Gold manor. Your new home." The lawyer said escorting me out the government building.

We got in a limousine as I was guarded by 4 cars full of security guards. The lawyer was with me on the way to the Gold Manor.

"Young master, we have been awaiting your return. Please just sign here and every single property is yours. This is the orders from Dr. MEI, Kevin, Eden and Elysia. Since you're the successor, you'll have everything and it will be under your command." The lawyer said pulling out a contract.

I don't feel any Ill intent radiating from him. He's honest and genuine. I signed the contract and he gave me a phone and a few more papers to sign for proper identification and credit card information.

"Sign here and fill up this form. We'll take care of everything from credit card info and permits, to identification and other important stuff. You don't have to put your quirk in. If you don't fill up this form, the government will get suspicious of your actions." The lawyer said.

"Thank you for your service sir. I really appreciate it. I have no quirk yet I was subjected to the MANTIS surgery. I'll put no quirk here. I want you as my advisor and closest friend is that okay?" I asked filling out the form.
