|CHAPTER SIXTEEN|

*STARASIA'S POV*
As Dave and Summer were chopping it up, that's when London came down the stairs.

He smiled when he seen it was me.

"Little Star! I haven't seen you in so long! How you been, girl?"

London hugged me with a bright smile. I smiled back, hugging him back.

I really have the up most respect for London. He has taken Summer out of so many fucked up situations, and made everything better for her.

"I've been great, I missed you too! Just been touring with my boyfriend, it's been pretty fun. How have you been?"

"I've been great myself. Just working on some more music as always, the grind never stops. Nice to meet you finally, Dave!"

"Nice to meet you too, man. It's cool being around another nigga besides my best friend for once."

Dave chuckled, getting up and walking over to shake London's hand.

London smiled, shaking Dave's hand.

"You been treating my little Star right?"

"Yeah, nigga. As always. Never anything less."

"Good, that's the Shit I love to hear. Maybe one day, I can produce a track for you. Your records are pretty dope."

"Thank you, bro! That means a lot, I fucks with that."

"No problem, man. But anyways; Star, your mom has been driving us insane, girl!"

"Oh lord. What's my mom doing now these days?"

I asked London as Dave made his way behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and placing his lips on the back of my head.

I bet he would've did it on the back of my neck. But, he's too tall.

"You know how your mom is; such a perfectionist. She kept bugging me, Summer, and your aunt about how everything needs to be in order for this little vacation. Especially since you and Dave were coming."

"Yeah! Then we kept telling her that everything would be perfect as long as we're all together. But she said shit has to be literally perfect either way."

Summer put her input in with a laugh following afterwards. I shook my head with a small chuckle.

"Mom's just being over dramatic. I think she's overly excited that I FINALLY have a new boyfriend. She was getting sick of Tory behind the scenes."

"She definitely was. I ain't ever seen no one talk so much shit about a Nigga before a day in my life."

Summer said. Dave looked all around between me, Summer, and London.

"He was really THAT bad?"

"Definitely! I mean, he wasn't ALWAYS that bad. I would say the last five months of his relationship with Star he just completely changed up."

"Oh, I forgot to ask. How's your best friend? Her name is.. —"

"Cyn. And she's doing well. It's such a funny story, because originally she's the one who had a huge crush on Dave. Dave's best friend was the one who had a huge crush on me. And the two of them ended up together."

I explained to London. London chuckled and raised one of his eyebrows.

"Really? That's some shit."

Suddenly, the four of us heard the cabin door start to open.

"My baby is finally here! I missed you so much!"

My mom came running into the cabin as soon as she realized I was there.

She then proceeded to hug me tightly, kissing me all over my face.

"Mom! A little bit more space, please! I missed you too!"

"I'm sorry, I just missed you so much!"

"Mom, this is Dave. My boyfriend that I've been telling you all about."

"Oh my gosh, it's so nice to meet you, Dave! My name is Liberty, my sister's name is Lily."

My mom went on to give Dave a huge hug as he hugged her back.

My aunt also gave Dave a hug after he finished with my mom.

"It's very nice to meet you both. It's a huge pleasure."

"I already love you more than that Tory boy. You seem to have way more respect than him."

Lily spoke up with a smile.

That's when I have Dave a see, I told you they would love you look. Dave chuckles and looked at Lily.

"I appreciate that, auntie. There seems to be something off with that man, anyways. He don't know how to take hints to when shit is over and done with."

"So mom, what is this that Summer and London is telling me that you were being a perfectionist again?"

I looked over at my mom. My mom sighed and looked back at me.

"Your cousin is being over dramatic. I was not being a perfectionist. I just like things in order. Especially when you come to see me with your new boyfriend."

"Aunty, you were being pretty damn dramatic. Stop that lying."

"What is so wrong about me wanting things just right when Starasia comes to visit? Especially when she has a new boyfriend."

"There ain't nothing wrong with that. I like my shit in order too. I agree with chu, ma. I can call you ma, right?"

Dave looked at my mom.

I'm surprised he's doing so well with meeting and socializing with her, considering he was super nervous when we first got here.

"Of course, that's perfectly fine with me, hun. See, Dave gets me."

My mom gave Dave a high five.

It looks like Dave had already passed the test with flying colors with my mom and aunt.

It took Tory months for them to like him. And even with that, they still weren't one hundred percent about him.

"I'm surprised you're here with us, Dave. I thought since you have a small break from tour, you would wanna go visit your own family."

Lily spoke up, taking a sip of some hot chocolate she just whipped up. Dave shrugged and sat back down on the couch.

"Eh, I figure I'll just see my family whenever tour is done, or when I have the next break. I like Starasia so much, that I thought I would like her family just as much. I obviously thought right."

"Oooh! This boy is such a charmer, baby! He's a keeper!"

My mom patted my shoulder, walking over to the kitchen. I laughed and sat down next to Dave on the couch.

Our two week break should be enjoyable.
