𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞

Christmas. A time of joy, a time of tears, a time of laughter, a time of cheers, a time of family, a time of friends, when gifts are shared and wholesome moments, where love isn't frozen and winter fills the air. Good for others, bad for some, neutral for many and hopefully, terrible for none but life isn't always fair. Especially when seasons come around.

"Who'd you get?"
"I can't tell you that."
"Why not? Is it me?"
"None of us are supposed to tell anyone."
"But the exchanging of gifts is today. It's okay to share hyung." Beomgyu whined to Yeonjun.

Yeonjun ignored him.

Taehyun entered. His silver hair was straightened today. He dressed in a warm black sweater and wore silver jewelry to compliment it. He wouldn't show it but he was excited for this event. He even wore his favourite cherry lip tint to look good in front of the camera.

Beomgyu had an immediate smile on his face. The others were able to notice. So did Taehyun but he didn't give an expression back. Just told Beomgyu to 'square up' with his eyes.

"Were you waiting for me? You can start now."
"Yes of course. What's a secret santa gift exchange without everyone being here?" Soobin chuckled.
"Heuningkai. Get the camera rolling." Yeonjun instructed.
The youngest did as he was told.
He set the camera up on top of the fireplace.

In that position the couches of where they were sitting [three on one side, two on the other] could be seen along with the dining table that had a nicely decorated gingerbread house they were going to snack on.

"Should we start from the oldest or the youngest."
"I don't mind going first." Heuningkai smiled.
"Why are you looking at me? Do you have me?" Beomgyu asked, still on a mission to find his secret santa.
Taehyun almost smiled to himself.
He had Beomgyu.
The twist was that Heuningkai also had Beomgyu.

"Let's just get started." The youngest suggested.
"Whoa. Disrespectful." Beomgyu dramatically fell against Taehyun.
Taehyun shrugged him off.

"I guess i'm going first." Yeonjun turned to Soobin.
Soobin smiled, exposing his dimples with an amused look.
"I'm your secret santa."
"Ah really? I'm also your secret santa. This is crazy." Soobin laughed.
They exchanged gifts as the younger randomly clapped.
They exchanged a 'brotherly' hug along with it.

"We're not opening it right away?"
"No I think we should wait until everyone gets their gift then we can open it all together." Yeonjun suggested.
"That's a great idea. You're so smart hyung." Soobin praised.
Yeonjun smirked confidently.
"Those hyungs." Heuningkai uttered to himself.

"So it's between us three now?" Beomgyu excitedly pointed.
"Yup!"
"Which one of you is my secret santa?"
"I am." Taehyun and Heuningkai said at the same time.
They got confused.

"What? How can you be his santa? Then who would have me?" They asked at the same time.
Beomgyu looked confused too.
"I don't know. I have Heuningkai. I thought he would have you Taehyunie."
Taehyung's smile dropped.
"What? But we did a fair exchange. The company is the one that handed out the papers didn't they?"

Taehyun frowned even more. His skin went pale. It could be a mistake but how many times would they make this mistake? How many times does he have to get left out? He wasn't being overdramatic was he? That's what he asked himself because his eyes started brimming with tears.

He stood up.
"Wait Tae-"
He grabbed his coat and set off with a key.
Beomgyu chased after him.
"Should I go after them?" Heuningkai questioned.
"Leave them. Gyu will take care of it."
