POV: Marie

Hi, I'm Marie. I'm 15 years old. I have sun bleached blonde hair and deep dark brown eyes. I'm very tan because I live in Hawaii. I love surfing so much. I think I'm good at it. When I grow up I want to become a professional surfer. I have been living in Hawaii all my life. I was actually born here. I have very close friends here in Hawaii. I love it here so much it's perfect. I'm so happy for everything I have. I don't really watch TV since in pretty much always surfing working at the smoothie bar or helping around in my village. I have seen a show called "Sweet 16" it's where some girls have a big birthday party to celebrate their 16th birthday. All of the girls I have seen are very snobby and ungrateful to their parents. It's crazy to think how mean those girls are. For my 16th birthday party I just want to spend it with family and friends not have a huge bash party. I don't know that's just me.

"Abby! Come downstairs we have important news to tell you."

"I'm coming, hold on"

"Okay, what is it?"

"Did Timmy get the job?!?"

"No sweetie, what we wanted to tell you is that...."

"Yes? What is it"

"We have to move to California for a year.."

"What?!?!? Is this some type of joke?!?"

"No, hunny I'm sorry"

"But the owners of this house are coming back this year because they are getting their house repaired and they missed being here so they need the house. But don't worry we will be coming back after this year."

"NO! I CAN'T! I WON'T"

*Marie ran upstairs*

"It's okay. Just let her relax."

POV: Marie

No this can't be happening. I love it here so much. Even if its just for a year I will miss everyone too much. What if they forget about me? Or think that I'm selfish?
