It's the beginning of summer and I just moved from jersey to sugarhill Harlem, where I was born and grew up at till my mother got a better job in jersey when I was 10. I have gone back for breaks but other then that I haven't gone back to sugarhill till now where my 14 year old cousin Eva still lives. I haven't seen her in a while.
While me and my mom were driving up to my new house I got a FaceTime call from Eva.
The call
Eva- hey girl
Y/n- hey mh wassup?
Eva- I was wondering if you want to go to this party later with me and my best friend jayracks
Y/n- how old is she? cause I'm not going to no little ass kid party
Eva- she's 15 and our boyfriends are gonna be there and they hang out with people your age and older so it's definitely not gonna be a little kids party knowing them
Y/n- what do you mean by that
Eva- nothing, you'll see, maybe you'll meet someone tonight
Y/n- mmmm idk
Eva- please my moms going to be helping your mom all of today and tomorrow setting up the house so I doubt they would care if we hang out together
Y/n- alright fine.. what time is this party at and what should i wear?
Eva-it starts at 9pm and yk how ny party's be so they really don't have a end till people get bored and you can wear anything just make sure you look cute and I'll send you the address
Y/n- ok thank you mh I'll see you later bye
Eva- bye
As of that I hung up the phone we parked into the drive way and started moving our main things in like our clothes etc because our moving truck with our furniture and boxes don't come till tomorrow
It is just me and my mom who live together because my father is dead, he died before we moved out of Harlem when I was 10 and my 4 siblings are grown and out the house already 2 girls. 2 twin boys. My brothers just being 3 years older then me and my sisters and I having a big age gap so I was a lot closer to my brothers.
Once I was done moving the basics in my room I decided to pick out my outfit for this party because I have nothing else to do since I don't have furniture yet
