I woke up from the sun the was shining out from the curtains, it was beautiful, it made my wooden lounge look orange. Amanda and Olivia must've heard me get up because they started to wake up. I went over to my small kitchen to find something in my cupboards to have for breakfast, all I could find was a loaf of bread and a box of cereal. I grabbed out plates and bowls and then as I was looking at around and my eyes became fixed on the photo that didn't develop, I dropped the plates and screamed, they shattered on the floor and the girls came running in. "What's the matter!" Said Amanda panicking. "Look, look at the photo" I said a bit shakily as I point to the photo. They saw it and also screamed. "What is it!" Asked Olivia. "I don't know" I said. It was the photo of me in the same position but it had a white shadow across the photo with a faint face. I grabbed a plate that didn't smash and put it over the top, I didn't want to touch the photo. "Do you think it had something to do with the camera and the high pitched noise?" Asked Amanda who was still terrified. "Maybe" Said Olivia. "Yeah" I said still unsure and petrified. I walked over to the couch and sat down, I was confused and when Olivia walked over I jumped. "Are you okay?" Asked Olivia. "No, I'm not, what if this is like those scary movies when a person gets a photo taken and a spirit or something appears and bad stuff happens to them and the end up in HOSPITAL!" I said. "Don't panic Emily" said Amanda trying to calm me down. She hugged me and Olivia joined in. "Just forget about it, I'm sure nothing will happen and you know that scary movies are all fake, nothing like that could ever happen, it was probably just a mark or the flash because it is an old camera" said Olivia. "You know your probably right, I'm just getting myself worked up over nothing" I said trying to let out a laugh.
After all that I grabbed a broom and swept the broken bowls and plates in the bin and Olivia threw out the picture. I grabbed some more plates from the cupboard and Amanda put toast in the toaster. We sat down at my wooden dining table and ate our toast with butter on it without saying a word, this has been the most scariest and disturbing morning I've ever been through.

(continued writing this on 25/5/17, 2 years after I first started)The rest of the day moved pretty quickly actually. We've been sitting on the couch with our heads buried in our phones and only been getting up to grab food or a drink. I think we're still startled from this morning and I've also been getting really easily scared, let's just say I got scared when Olivia unlocked the door to get some fresh air, I ended up on the ground.
"Hey, are you ok?" Asked Olivia.
"I fine, why do you ask?" I replied
"You look, I dunno, spaced out" said Olivia.
"Oh" I say
I go back to looking on my phone but Olivia is still looking at me, I pretend to not notice.
A breeze starts to come through the house, which is strange seeing as all the doors and windows are shut, and its spring. I try to brush it off, but the air suddenly become colder, hitting our faces like icicles. That's when I become suspicious.
"D-d-do you f-f-feel that" I say through my shivers.
"Y-yes" says Amanda.
We stay frozen in out spots, not wanting to move off the couch incase something/someone decides to come out and meet with us.
I close my eyes and hug my knees tight to my chest. The temperature begins to drop lower and lower, to the point where we are all uncontrollably shaking and the fear of getting hypothermia sets in.
Suddenly we hear a huge bang throughout the house (followed by our screams) and the temperature begins to come back up.
"What the fuck just happened?" I hear Olivia say.
"I-i don't know" stutters Amanda.
Still feeling slight effects of hypothermia, I begin to unravel myself and get off the couch, instantly craving for a hot drink.
"Does anyone want a hot drink?" I say in the most monotone voice possible.
They nod as I move into the kitchen. I feel strange, it's like all my emotions have been shut off and I'm left feeling completely blank.
