Missed Calls

As from the last story, it was stated that Mel was grounded for 4 days, so we're continuing that!

It's the day after Mel got grounded by her parents, she was really upset because her phone was blowing up, with missed calls from Veronica. The only purpose she could use one of her gadgets was if she had homework to do online, so she mostly just said that she was working on a group project with Vick, but she actually wasn't. She was just enjoying talking to her, she even paid one of her classmates that her parents knew to pretend there was a group project. Though, her parents eventually found out and grounded her for 4 more days, she was fairly upset.

Veronica didn't know she got grounded again when the 4 days were over, turns out Mel forgot to tell her and Mel's parents told her to not talk to Veronica because she's distracting her from her studies, when really she's just falling in love with a girl. Her parents didn't mind, as long as who she marries was rich, and doesn't get in the way of her studies, but to them it seemed like Vick was getting in the way of Mel's studies so they decided to keep Mel away from Veronica until she was ungrounded.

Tuesday afternoon in school..

Veronica was getting upset and concerned for Mel, so she decided to do some investigating. She contacted one of Mel's closest friends, Zoe. She told Zoe "Hey can you do something for me? It's about Mel, I'll pay you 40 bucks." Vick said to Zoe while on the call, "First of all, make that 60 bucks and I'll do it, second of all, tell me what's this about." Said Zoe, She tells her, her plan. "Alright I'll do it." Said Zoe, "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!" said Veronica in a very excited tone.

Tuesday night..

*Knock knock* "Hmm? Who could that be?" Said Mel's mom, Mel's mom walk over to the door and Mel turns her head watching her mom walk to the door. "If it's that Veronica again, we'll shut the door on her." Mel's dad told her, Mel felt quite guilty, she didn't want Vick to be even more upset. Her phone kept on ringing during dinner, but her parents saw it had the name Veronica, so they told Mel to not answer it.

Back to the door...

"Oh what a pleasant surprise! It's Zoe! Why are you here?" Said Mel's mom in a political tone, Zoe said "Oh I just came here to stop by, check up on Mel and stuff, would you mind if I had a sleepover with her?", " No not at all! In fact you can have dinner now! Just get a plate and prepare yourself some dinner! There's still plenty of food on the table!" Said Mel's mom, "Thank you!" Said Zoe, and sat next to Mel while getting some food. Mel was a bit suspicious of her since, she wouldn't usually come without calling or texting her.

"I'm done with my food!" said Zoe in a joyful tone, "I'm done too, come on Zo let's go to my room" said Mel while looking at Zoe with a confused face...they go to Mel's room.. "Why real you here? Did my mom send you over? Or my dad? Why did you come here without telling me??" said Mel nervously, "Who's, Whoa, chill out girl, Veronica sent me. She seemed concerned.. And upset-" Zoe got cut off "OH NO?? I UPSET HER?? CAN YOU TELL HER I'M GROUNDED UNTIL THURSDAY!?!?" said Mel while panicking, "Sh! Dumbass they almost hear you." Said Zoe, "Right sorry.." Mel said, Zoe tells Mel about the whole conversation she had with Veronica earlier. "Oh.. I get it! I guess..." Said Mel, "You don't do you-" Zoe said "Yeah no, I don't"
