Victoria's POV

Today was the day. Graduation. The day I would never have to take another state test, the day I get ready to go to college. Wow time flies so fast.
"Thank you guys for watching, make sure to like and subscribe if you haven't already. Remember to smile guys! Bye everybody!" I said to close my video for this week.
I put my camera stuff away and picked up my phone. I saw that I had three texts, one from my sister and two from my best friend, Madelyn. I responded to my sister then looked at the text from Madi.
Madi 🔥- hey girl, wanna come over and get ready for grad.
Madi 🔥- that wasn't a question btw. Be here at 12.
Me- sure, I'll be over at 12 then🎀.
It was currently 11:45 so I had just enough time to grab my robe, shoes, makeup, brush, a bra, and a thong.
I grabbed everything I needed and walked out the house and got into my car. I drive for about 5 minutes until I got to Madi's house. I walked up to the garage and entered the password (we've been friends for 12 years I'm not gonna rob them). The garage opened and I walked in the house.
"MADI! I'M HERE!!" I yelled through the whole house. Her parents weren't home right now so it was fine to yell.
"I'M IN MY ROOM!!" she yelled back down.
I ran up the stairs and saw her brushing her straight blonde hair out. "hey!" I said to her and pulled her into a hug.
"Today is the day. The day we graduate, the day we prepare to go to the same college!" she squealed out the last part. Both of us were pretty smart so we both got into a good college, the same one.
"I know, I'm so happy we get to get out of that school!" I chirped
"Same!" she giggled.
We walked into her bathroom that was in her room and started our makeup. Madi did my makeup and I did hers. We made a rule that we weren't allowed to look in the mirror until we were both done. For her I put on foundation, powder. I started with her eyes, a white base with black on the outsides and a glittery gold in the middle. I grabbed the black eyeliner and winged it on her eye. I then grabbed the mascara and applied it to her already long af (like mine) eyelashes. I added a red lipstick and she was done. She looked amazing, I was pretty proud.
After we were both fine with our makeup we looked in the mirror.
"On 3" Madi squealed.
"3" I started.
"2"
"1!" We both said in sync and turned around.
"Wow!" we both gasped. For me she applied foundation and power. Then for my eyes she outlined it in black then shaded it in. Next on the left side she applied on dark purpley/blue and on the right side she applied a shimmery gold. She added eyeliner and put mascara on my naturally long eyelashes. Last she applied a baby pink lipstick with a gloss. It was perfect.
"Ooh, girl you're fucking genius!" she chirped.
"Well I learned from the best!" I said as she pulled me into a hug.
"HAIR TIME!!!" she belted. She ran to her curler and curled my hair then hers.
We were done with hair and makeup so we grabbed our dresses that we bought together at the mall the other day. Mine was a small, short black dress that shows a tiny bit of cleavage and around the waist it has a gold belt. Madi's was the same but red.
We had finished getting ready and checked the time, 3:52. The ceremony started at 5:00 so we decided to leave now.
We arrived at school with our robes/gowns and walked into a classroom and put them on.
When it was time for the ceremony to start, we all were divided into two groups and made two lines. When the announcers said to welcome the graduates we all walked out in our lines and sat in our seats.
Our principle, teachers, and some students gave speeches and then they started announcing the student names and handing out the diplomas. When I heard my name "Victoria Harris" I stood up and walked onto the stage and shook some teachers' hands and I was handed my diploma. I sat in a different area until all the students were done.
We heard so more speeches and then finally we threw our hats in the air and cheered. High school's officially over!
