"Hi honey," I said as my daughter Amber came in the house.
She blames me for the school change, but I blame her friends. I overheard them saying they wanted to restart their lives over, so I called the school and transferred Amber over the summer.
She came the kitchen and bit into an apple sitting on the counter.
"So, how's your first day going," I said trying to start a conversation.
"It's was ok," she said gulping down my orange juice that I planned on drinking after I fixed me a Bologna sandwich.
"Well that's good honey, let's go on a shopping spree tommorow, my treat."
"No thanks."
"Whether or not you like it Amber we're going, you can even bring Kaley and what not."
"Her name is Briana mom, you promised me that you would let go of what she did."
