It's 1:30 in the morning and as a graduating college student, Leni was bombarded with uni paper works. She's trying to finish all of her pending tasks tonight so she can go out with her boyfriend, Kit, tomorrow without having to think about her schoolworks. She's been stressed out for weeks now because she also happens to be the captain of her university swim team and the president of their graduating class batch.
They were studying on FaceTime and are having a petty fight tonight just because Kit won't open his camera because he knows that Leni would be distracted and will just make kwento completely forget about her paperworks.
"Love, open mo na kasi camera so we can study together na." Leni said in her pleading voice.
"Madi-distract ka nga sa kapogian ko tapos hindi ka na mag-aaral." He said, finding his cute girlfriend blushing through the screen.
"Argh nooo, I just want to see you because ang tagal na natin hindi nagkikita and I miss you so much." she said with paawa effect because she really misses her Kit.
"Hayy pa-baby nanaman ang mahal ko oh, focus on your readings muna then I'll open my camera later kapag focus ka na mag-aral para wag ka muna ma-distract, okay? Besides, magkikita na rin naman tayo tomorrow." He said and let Leni relax in their call as he played the discography of Coldplay.
"Okay." Leni smiled as she opened her iPad to start her reading.
But as being the best boy that he is, Kit was already on his way to her condo with his own schoolworks because he can't wait to be with his girlfriend and spend their time together this weekend. It's a 25-min drive but took him almost 40 minutes because he had to stop over to buy Leni's favorite coffee and her favorite midnight snack. He muted his microphone and just watched Leni read, study and memorize while waiting for the iced coffee that he bought. He smiles as he watches her focus on her readings.
"Love, are you still there?" He was startled when he heard Leni.
"Yes, mahal ko, Just typing something lang." He lied and mute himself again.
"Okay, malapit ko na matapos second part. Sakit na likod ko." Leni complained while stretching her back.
"I love you." He replied.

Leni didn't notice that she fell asleep, she was rubbing her eyes and startled when she heard Kit's voice coming from her MacBook.
"Hi Love, you fell asleep mga 20 mins, open your door for me please." He said gently, smiling.
The woman rushed to the door and opened it. And he's there. Standing so pogi with his backpack, holding his phone and a little pastry box on his left hand while carrying two cups of coffee on his right.
"Oh my gosh, love! Why are you here?" She said surprisingly.
"I can't do the distance anymore, mahal. And I miss you so much." He said as he placed his things on the table and slid his hand on her waist then to her back pulling her body closer to him.
She rested her head on his chest sniffling his scent. "I missed you too, Love."
They walked to the couch still hugging each other. Kit brushed the loose strands of Leni's hair, placing small kisses on her forehead while his other hand caressed her shoulders. They stay in that position for a while. Feeling each other's presence, exchanging soft kisses, cuddling.
"I know you had a bad day at uni earlier, so I made you brownies, mahal" Kit knew how much Leni loves pastries so when his schedule permits him to bake, he really tries his best to make different kinds of bread for his love.
"Yay, oh my gosh, Love! I love brownies so much!" Said Leni while excitedly opening the little box Kit was holding earlier.
"I know, mahal. Here, I bought you coffee too." Kit said giving the beverage he bought earlier for Leni because it's her favorite.

It's already past 3 midnight. The two just finished all of their readings. Being so pagod, Leni is craving the softness of her bed. She looked up at Kit who was waiting for his laptop to shut down. The moment Kit placed his laptop on the center table, Leni crawled towards him.
"Love, hold me please." Leni said softly
"Why?' He asked, just teasing her.
"I just want to relax in your arms, Love" She said before she settled herself on the arms of her lover, waiting for sleep to finally come.
"Come here, mahal ko. Rest to me." Welcoming the small woman in his arms openly, with ease,
Kit placed Leni's head between his long and slim hands, pressing their foreheads together before they exchanged a wonderful, passionate kiss.
