"Hey, what are you doing here?" I furrow once I spot Charles. "Who are you waiting for?"

"Carlos sent me to pick you up," he greets me before taking my luggage for me. "He said he couldn't get out of bed."

"Oh, right! He said he would send someone but he didn't say who, I thought he would send Caco."

"I think he's also sick," he shrugs. "Silvia told me that she had to send Rupert to check if they were still alive."

"Yeah, Carlos told me he had the highest fever ever. My mom almost came with me to make sure her little baby was okay."

"My mom would have probably come. However, this afternoon seemed like Carlos was feeling better at the Zoom team meeting."

"Yeah probably, you men like to exaggerate these things a little." I tease him with a shy smile.

"That's probably correct." He says before opening the car's trunk to place my bags in it.

"Of course it is!" I climb into the car as he closes the trunk and walks towards the driver's door.

He turns on the engine once both of us have fastened our seatbelts and makes his way out of the airport. I turn on the radio to an Italian pop song and nod to it even though I've never heard it before.

"What are your plans for the weekend?" Charles asks as he enters the highway, the engine roar filling the cabin.

"I don't know, if Carlos is sick I don't think he'll be able to do much. He probably wants to stay in bed and watch romcoms."

"Romcoms? Really?" Charles chuckles while shaking his head. "Oh, Carlos!"

"Don't tell him I told you that!" I protest but a chuckle slips out.

"I could take you out for a tour if you want to." He turns his head slightly to look at me.

"Sure," I smile.

"I hope you like pasta."

"I think it would be a national offense if I didn't."
