* A few weeks later,
" River. Darling, are you done packing yet?"
My grandmother called from my old kitchen.
"Yeah!.."
I called back as I just stood there standing and looking around my old room. It looked just so... bland, after the funeral, my grandmother told me I would be living with her in a new town in Michigan.
I graned my sucase and headed downstairs, where I saw my grandmother talking with a man in my old living room.
"Oh, hey sweetheart."
"Hey grandma, who's this?"
"Oh, this is Mr. Benjamin, he's the one who bought your parents' house."
" Uh, hello," I say as I stretch out my hand for him to shake.
" hello, please dont call me benjaman it makes me feel old. just call me james" Said Mr. ben- i mean James
" well its time we get going" - my grandmother said, " please take care of this place,"- she added on.
" i will"- said james
"well lets get going River" - said grandma
"okay," - i replyedAs we started to leave i turned around to stare at the place i once called home, but now all it was, a hollow place holding memories i held close to my heart.
" River! cmon sweaty, we have to get going!" my grandma shouted from the car
" Coming" i shouted back. takeing one last look. i left my home.IM SO SORRY! honastly i forgot about this book lol, but now with getting a computer for my birthday. and being in high school i decided i needed to do something with my lide so im going to be writeing more, with hope's in updateing this story every week, anywho.
