Mr. Garrison: Okay, children, let's take our seats. We're gonna discuss something important.

The class was still talking to each other, even to Davina.

Mr. Garrison: Settle down, kids. I know you're excited about Davina here, but please give her some space.

The class finally went silent.

Mr. Garrison: Thank you. Today, we're doing a group project on ruthless men of your choice. I need to see at least 5 people or less per group. You have one week to do so.

Wendy raised her hand.

Mr. Garrison: Yes, Wendy. You can choose your partners as long as they agree and are not forced. Start choosing your partners kids.

The class walked around the room, choosing who they wanted to be with. The boys walked up to Davina.

Stan: Hey, Davina! Wanna work with us?

As expected, the girls interrupted.

Wendy: Why won't you work with us, Davina? We have room for one more person.

Kyle: Back off! We got to her first!

Wendy: Well, why not let her choose who she wants to work with?

Kyle: Deal!

Mr. Garrison: 3 more minutes and then go back to your seats.

Wendy: Davina, if you choose us, we'll take you to your favorite hangout place.

Kyle: If you choose us, we can buy you whatever you like.

Wendy: That's stupid!

Kyle: Yours was stupid too!

Just as Davina was about to get off her chair, they stopped her.

Wendy: Davina, please. You can't go to your brother, he's already in a group of 5.

Mr. Garrison: 1 minute left.

Stan: You have to choose, Davina. We'll give you after school to decide which group you'd like to be in.

Mr. Garrison: Okay, children, time's up. Take your seats, please.

After choosing their partners, the kids returned to their seats.

(After School; 3:05 PM)

The school day was over. As Davina walked out with the other kids, as expected, the boys and girls came up to her.

Davina: What do you need?

Stan: Have you decided?

Davina: Decide what?

Kyle: Which group you wanna work with.

Davina: Oh, that. Uhhhh... I don't know. You all seem pretty cool and chill, but I just can't decide. Give me some more time.

Wendy: But we just gave you until the school day ended.

Davina sighed slightly.

Davina: Okay, okay. I've made my decision, and I will work with...

Both the groups were eagerly waiting for the response.

Davina: The guys.

The boys cheered as the girls' jaws dropped to the ground.

Davina: Sorry, girls. Maybe next time. I mean, if your cool with it.

Wendy, trying to hide her anger forced a smile on her face while grinding her teeth.
