Location: Garage
Noah's POV:
I was talking with uncle and Isaac. We shared the information we know. After the speech ended I went to take a drink. There I saw something suspicious.
I saw the bartender taking a girl to the storage room. As I doubted his intentions so I decided to follow him. What I saw was not what I was expecting. The Bartender was a vampire and he was drinking blood from the human but that was against the Accords.
So I interacted them and preventive him from drinking her blood. I compelled the women to forget about what happened here and go. I also give her my blood so that she could heal and there will be no marks.
After she left I looked toward the Vampire and I notice that he was a demarcian vampire. So I called uncle along with Isaac and ask them to meet me in the storage room. I also told them that I captivated a demarcian vampire.
Soon they arrived. Then they told me there were few more in the party along with witches but they couldn't catch them. When I told them that let me go and take care of him in the basement they denied. And they took the matter in their own hands and said to me,"You you are the chief guest here. You can't just leave like this you should stay. We will take care of this."
I agreed and went there were from the back door. As I was left alone so I decided to join the party. But when I enter I heard the announcement of the party being ended. Out of nowhere Mr Smith came to me 10 minutes after announcing the party is over asking for a favour. The favour was to drop his daughter home which I couldn't deny. It was like he was desperate for the answer.
(Time skip)
I was walking with Evelyn. We were going to garage where my car was located. While Evelyn was sulking about going with me. I mean I should be the one sulking about taking such arrogant kid home.
"Will you stop sulking? It's irritating me."
"If it's irritating you this much, why dont you leave me?"
"I can't your father trusted me with your responsibility."
"Too much responsible", she muttered under her breath while rolling her eyes.
I decided not to comment on it.
While we were about to get in the car a movement caught the corner of my eyes. It was a shadow. I couldn't see or hear anyone. So, I shrugged it off. Then suddenly someone came and grabbed Evelyn's hand. And she screamd while saying, "What the hell!"
The unkown person said, "You have to come with me now. Or else I will kill you along with him.", showing by her a gun. I could sense it was a werewolf and Evelyns fear too. So she agreed. They were about to leave but I inturrepted.
"I think you should leave mister. You are not wanted here." My back was facing Evelyn. So, I took the chance and decided to show him who is in control. I showed him my black eyes with red pupil and pulled my mask and showed him my fangs.
"You don't know what I am capable of. So, you better leave.", I can feel I scared the shit out of him that made a satisfied grin plaster on my face. "I-I w-will l-leav-ve", he stuttered and took his leave. I turned around and saw a shocked Evelyn.
"Hey. You okay?", I asked softly while shaking her. She flinched but pull herself together and said,"Can we please leave now?", in a small voice. "Yeah let's get to the car." But she was standing still.
"You sure you okay?"
"Yeah, can....can I hold your hands?",sge said while looking down. "Maybe I'm being too pathetic.", sge thought in her mind. "Sorry, I was not thinking. Let's go."
But before we could leave I holded her hands. "Let's go." She was too stunned to do any thing. So, I had to pull her toward the car. I opened the car and made her sit on the seat. And went to my seat.
I started the car but she was too quite. I tried to enlighten the mood, "What happened? Cat got your tounge or something?"
"Haha so funny. But unlucky for you but I still have my tounge and speak."
"Wow! So you can speak! Alas I thought will be getting some peace of mind."
"Not happening in my pressence."
And just like that we started to mocking ourselves and passed the time. Then we reached her home."Thanks for the ride.", she said politely. "I didn't know you could be polite" and she glarred at my remark and I just chukled lightly.
I watched her enetering the house. When she did, I left. I was 1/4 th way gone but then I saw she left her phone. So turned the car and went to her house.
At Smith mansion-
Evelyn's POV:
Mr Noah dropped me home and left I was going to my room but the house was too quite to be real. I might be cheerful person but everybody tties to enlighten me. But our maid Nancy was nowhere to be found. Then kept my bag in my room and started to look for her. She was nowhere to be found. Which is quite strange because she never leaves the house. It is like she is part of this house. She has been here for 12 years, since uncle Luke left.
After searching for a while I saw a figure behind the sofa.And the scenery made me scream my lungs out. By then I was already on my knees.
Outside the house-
Noah's POV:
I just reached Smith mansion. And then I heard Evelyn scream her lungs out. Which made me enter the house and what I saw was truly heart wrenching.
