"Now that everyone is here, we'll begin the meeting" Masamichi's voice booms through the quiet room.Nobody has dared to say a word in class ever since the incident happened. Some haven't said anything because they actually feel hurt by your betrayal, others just can't find the words to express their hatred towards you for how you played them all.
Maki sits in silence across from Gojo who finally got out of bed and came to all of his classes today. She's even surprised that he showed up to this meeting considering that everyone was informed that this meeting would be strictly about you and all information would pertain to you.
"I will start by saying that, this was not something that we were aware of" Masamichi says pushing up his glasses.
"We didn't have the slightest suspicion that.." He sighs rubbing his forehead.
"We had no knowledge that there was a traitor among us, and believe me when I say that we are doing everything in our power to make sure that she pays for what she's done" He says angrily.
"We have of course started by expelling and banning the said traitor from this university as well as we have informed every Jujutsu organization, school etc. about who she is and to refrain from interacting with her as well" He adds.
Maki is fuming at his words about you. You aren't a traitor, and you never were but I guess there isn't much she can do without the proper amount of evidence. Not to mention the mountain of evidence that the school has against you doesn't exactly work in your favor.
Gojo on the other hand keeps his head down as people chime in about how much of a horrible person you are, and nobody dared to question him when it came to his affiliation with you.
Everyone automatically believed that Gojo had nothing to do with what you did, they also believed that he had no prior knowledge of you being a traitor, and all it took for everyone to believe him without questioning him was how sad he looked, and that pissed Maki off to no end.
Of course, they wouldn't dare question a man. Much less the number one sorcerer.
Maki on the other hand received dirty looks every time she walked into a room. Sometimes she'd hear light whispers and giggles but she didn't let it get to her because she knew that she was better than all of these people.
"When found, she will be arrested and be put on trial to be given the chance to prove her innocence" Masamichi mentions, earning mumbles and scattered looks around the room
Mai shoots her hand up and Maki sighs at the action because she knows that whatever her sister is about to say is probably idiotic.
"Yes Mai?" Masamichi says.
"What's the need for a trial? We have all the evidence that proves she's guilty" She asks with a smile on her face.
"Because the law states that everyone is entitled to a trial no matter how guilty they may seem" He answers her question.
"See, I've always had a bad feeling about her.. but none of you ever believed me" She scoffs.
"Shut up Mai" Maki says earning a scowl from her sister.
"Girls, please" Nanami adds interrupting the upcoming argument.
"So what happens when she's found guilty?" Mai asks rolling her eyes. The room suddenly starts to feel still and the atmosphere just seems to get gloomier and way more tense.
"She will be treated as a criminal and will be executed" He says in a low tone of voice.
Nobody says anything to that answer, aside from Mai's stupid giggle the entire room is quiet, quiet enough to hear a pin drop.
