FIRST DAY OF SUMMER

Davids POV

"David! Get up you sackhead, A WHOLE SUMMER, without you!", my older brother yelled from his room. Finally, an escape. I've lived in his wrath for the past four months. My parents have been away in Switzerland on business for what feels like forever. I shot up out if bed already dressed for school. Right after school I'm walking straight to the bus stop which will take me 5 hours north.

The school day went by fast, I walked to the bust stop with my 3 closest friends Adam, Izzy, and Hope, who were joining me at camp. As we trudged along with our bags for the summer on our backs we talked about all the fun times that we'll have at camp. Away from our families. It wasn't that out family life was awful or anything, just that it was hard to appreciate what we all had. When we got to the community centre which served as a bus stop, we halted in utter befuddlement. The people who we hated the most from our class were boarding the bus
