It was a crisp morning, and Michiru was standing in the middle of the room, whilst Tee sat on the couch watching her. She told Tee she wanted to try and see if there was any way she could turn herself into her human form. For some reason, you went over a plopped a leaf on her head. A deep breath later, and she performs a semi-successful backflip, but no so much transforming...

Michiru: Damn it, it's no use!

Melissa stood in front of the doorway, seemingly out of notice from you two until she spoke.

Melissa: What are you doing?

Tee: She wanted to see if she could turn human on command. As you can see, she can't...

Michiru: You don't have to be so blunt about it...

Melissa: You're a weird kid. Ah, more importantly, you have a call from the council.

Michiru: A call?

It didn't take long for the two to get ready and head over to the council. Here, Michiru got herself a proper Beastman registration credential. She even got an insurance card. The Mayor even gave Tee an insurance card, despite being human. It must've been a way of being generous for her help, though it still surprises Tee that this was in order.

Mayor: Formalities we're still in order, so consider it as a thank you for the bomb incident. It's been a bit rough for you two, right?

Michiru: Well, a little but, but thank you.

Tee: So long as we managed to get the perpetrators, I'd consider it a success.

Mayor: Ms. Michiru, with this credential, you're now officially part of Animacity. As for Tee, we hope there will be no problems throughout our partnership.

Tee: None whatsoever!

Mayor: In any case, welcome to the Beastmen Capital.

Michiru: Ah, yeah. Oh, right!

Michiru takes her phone out and slides it to her desk. It seems that it was cracked, either from the fact that she threw it at those thugs, or when he all fell from the Medical Center building.

Michiru: I'm giving this back.

Mayor: Don't worry, you can keep it.

Michiru: ...But I can't use it. It doesn't connect to the outside internet, does it? No matter how many times I tried, only the council site came up.

Mayor Rose's secretary, Koichi Ishizaki, spoke up about that matter.

Koichi: That's correct. Information on human society is restricted by the Special Beastman Territory Law.

Michiru: That's unfair!

Rose: Ms. Michiru, this is a good chance, so please remember this.

A screen pulls up from behind you and Michiru. They both turn to face a large chart that signals the evolution of humans and Beastmen.

Rose: Beastmen, or rather, the Beastman species is different from the Homo Sapiens species, such as Mr. Tee here. Thanks to a special gene called "Beast Factor", we can freely change our bodies. In ancient times, Beastmen were worshipped by their tribes, and made them look like beast gods. They wanted to be like gods.

This bout of information was nothing entirely new. He always been fascinated with the idea of Beastmen and what their origins were like.

Rose: That's why your beast form is decided based on ancestry. A lion's child will be a lion.

The screen shows a small branch of two species, a lion and a tiger.

Rose: If two species breed, only one of the parents' attributes will prevail. The resulting child will either be a lion or a tiger. It won't be a liger. Of course...
