you were on the outskirts of mondstadt city, wandering aimlessly with no particular destination in mind (or perhaps you did have one, who am i to say), when you heard quite a ruckus further along the path. sounded like a fight- an adventurer fighting monsters, perhaps?
you decided to go further down, taking cover behind a strangely convenient tree. maybe it'd be more smart to scope out first rather then just jump in, you reasoned in your head. you peeked around the trunk, catching sight of a man with strikingly red hair.
he held a flaming greatsword, standing strong against countless slimes and hillichurls- all of which he would quickly eradicate. even as troublesome pairs of abyss mages appeared, he defeated them without so much as breaking a sweat. it really was impressive.
after all the monsters were cleared, the man stood with a sigh- stabbing his sword into the ground. his back was to you, and you considered going on your merry way, but then he turned his head. he side-eyed in your direction.
"i know you're there. care to explain why you're just hiding away?"
