Chapter One

Alyssa's POV:

"Guys. I know what we should do," she said, a devious smile on her face.

"Yeah?" I called, twisting the rusty faucet to get a drink of water. A splash if brownish water sprayed out. "Ugh!"

"Stop fucking with the water and come over here!" Aria yelled.

I ran over and joined the others sitting in a circle.

"Okay. So I know what we're gonna do," Teagan whispered. We all leaned in close, with the exception of Aria.

"God Teagan you're such a drama queen, just fucking say it already!"

Teagan huffed and turned her back to Aria. A small smile crept onto her face. "Let's play a game."

---------------------------------------------

"What kind of game?" Alison asked, eyes wide.

"Really Teagan, what the hell is this? Saw 5?" Aria rolled her eyes.

"Shut up Aria, just shut up!" Violet, sitting to the left of me, yelled.

I looked around the circle. There were seven of us total. Aria the bitch, Teagan the leader, Violet the noisy one, Alison the sweet, innocent one, Landon the jock, Daniel the smart kid, and me. The normal one. Even though we were a strange collection of kids, we all just clicked. We had been friends for years now. Our group originally banded together in about third grade. Some people hated us, others looked up to us. To us, we were just... Us. We were in our normal meeting place, the old warehouse on the outskirts of town. It was falling apart, but it was ours.

"So guys... I say we play Trust Me."

"What the hell is that?" Violet and Aria said in unison.

"Well give me a second and I'll explain!" Teagan hushed them. "So, Trust Me. It's.... It's a pranking game," Her eyes sparkled with mischief. "You can form into groups, but the goal is to our prank every one else. To be on top,"

I groaned inside. Teagan, always having to be number one. It was just who she was. I always came second place to her. ALWAYS. Teagan was gorgeous, to say the least. She had long, caramel colored hair and striking green eyes. Her features were perfect. I, on the other hand, had poop colored eyes and hair. Plain and boring. My nose was too big and my eyes were too far apart. I envied Teagan, although I never showed it. Maybe, just maybe, I could win this time.
