~ The Mistletoe ~

"Christmas is right around the corner!"

Bad was decorating the school halls with wreaths and fairy lights, Skeppy lifting him up and helping him reach the roof, Skeppy stopped walking and began to think,

"Geppy? Is there something wrong? Are the fairy lights not even?"

Skeppy looked up at him,

"It's not that! I've just realised, we've been friends for over 2 months, and I've just realised that we've began to flirt, a lot."

Bad stared back,

"You've only just realised?"

"Oh hush."

They laughed and continued to decorate the halls. After Bad had finished, Skeppy placed him down and they exchanged smiles, just as Bad had gotten used to standing on his feet, Bethany knocked him over and laughed, she had made friends with the gossip girls and they were all laughing like snobs,

"You best stay away from Skeppy brat, because he's mine, he isn't yours to steal from me, you gay freak."

Bad just sat there, then he calmly stood up, wiping his jumper,

"Wow, 'gay freak', as if I haven't heard that 100 times over, listen, I'm not here to take away someone who doesn't even feel the same way about you, we're just really good friends who like to hang out real often, and if you can't handle that then I think you need to move on girlie."

Skeppy stood there, then he began to blush, Bethany stared at him and became angry - Skeppy realised that he looked like a strawberry and ran into the bathroom, he washed his face and then he thought, his eyes widened as he realised he just blushed because of his best friend, he looked at the mirror and quietly said,

"What is happening to me..?"

T.W: Near use of a slur

There were puddings being passed round, crackers being pulled, friends laughing, and overall everyone was having a good Christmas, Bad and Skeppy were sat in a circle with other pupils in 9th Grade, Sam and Ponk were there with them and they had been whispering to eachother for some amount of time now, but Bad and Skeppy let them get on with their conversation, they were playing spin the bottle, and Skeppy spun it, the bottle landed on Bad and Skeppy, being as confident as he is, said:

"I ain't no p*ssy, dare."

Sam giggled, and smirked,

"I dare you to kiss him, and if you look up, you can't say no~"

The pair looked up, and their faces dropped, Ponk was holding a mistletoe above their heads, they weren't against the idea; due to them crushing on eachother for quite some time, but it came so suddenly that they didn't know what to think.

Skeppy leaned in, and so did Bad, they took a deep breath and slowly locked their lips together, instead of being embarrassed, they both quite liked it, everyone in the circle yelled and screamed in support, which caught the attention of Bethany.

She looked over and her eyes widened, she became enraged by what she had layed her eyes upon, the person she loved kissing the person she hated. She stormed over separated them, she lifted Bad up, and began to punch, everyone began to scream and tried to pull Bethany off of Bad, Bad pushed as hard as he could while yelling and crying, he attempted to scratch, and even tried to bite, but Bethany was done with him trying to take Skeppy away from her, she yelled out,

"YOU LITTLE BRAT. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR GAMES, YOU KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF MY LOVE YOU SICK AND TWISTED FA-"

Her face went warm as a hand slapped her as hard as ever, Bad fell to the ground nearly unable to move, Bethany gasped and held her face,

"WHO THE F*CK DID THAT. SHOW YOURSELF RIGHT NOW."

Skeppy stared at her, fuming, out of sheer anger, he threw another punch leaving the crowd to gasp, she looked up at him, tears in her eyes, Skeppy growled,

"I F*CKING HATE YOU, YOU'RE A GOOD FOR NOTHING WH*RE WHO THINKS THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND YOU, AND YOU GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO PUNCH AND BEAT MY CRUSH. I DON'T WANT TO MARRY YOU AND I WISH I NEVER MET YOU. YOU SICK F*CKING B*TCH."

Bethany was lost for words, and so was the crowd, she began to cry and stood up shakily, and ran through the cafeteria doors. When Skeppy looked at where Bad sat, Sam was cleaning his wounds with a wet wipe, Skeppy sat next to Bad and held his hand, Bad hugged him tight and whined weakly, they hugged eachother and stayed quiet for a while - they slowly smiled warmly as they nuzzled against eachother, Sam patted Bad's shoulder and stood up, he could understand that Bad wanted to cuddle Skeppy for a while and thought it was best to leave them be.

Skeppy picked up Bad, and they walked home, they hugged as they walked, Bad was silent and held Skeppy's hand tight, once they entered Bad's home, they explained what happened to Bad's moms, and they were lost for words, they called the school and had a very "sensible" talk with the principal.

Bad was in bed, cuddling the voodoo plushie, Skeppy was stroking his hair, holding one of his hands, Bad looked at Skeppy and slowly yawned, he closed his eyes and began to snore, he fell asleep in Skeppy's arms and Skeppy slowly drifted off.

Bad was looking at the stars, Skeppy was next to him, but something was playing on his mind, and Bad could tell, so he turned his head towards him and opened his mouth,

"Skeppy? Are you okay? I can tell something is playing on your mind again."

Skeppy looked back at him and his eyes slightly opened a bit more, he went to hold Bad's hand, but stopped himself and pulled his hand back, then he spoke up, looking back at the stars,

"Bad, I feel like the stars and astronomy is what makes us feel so close, as if the stars aligned for us to be together, it's always when I'm sat on this hill with you, watching the moon, stars and space, that I feel like I need to kiss you, it feels like a date we didn't arrange."

He sighed and looked back at Bad,

"What I'm trying to say is, I love you Bad, and you are one of the best people I have ever met, you are the love of my life that I never knew existed until 4 months ago."

Bad blushed and his eyes gleamed with happiness, he gasped, and then jumped on Skeppy and they rolled around the hill, Bad looked deep into Skeppy's eyes,

"I love you too! I love you so so so much it hurts keeping it in!"

They both looked into eachother's eyes, and they both said,

"Will you be my boyfriend?"
"YES!"

They looked at eachother's eyes one more time before kissing slowly, the stars seemed to glow as it happened, as if they had found romance under the stars.
