Summer with Hermione was amazing. We spent our days at the park or going on trip into the country. It was the best summer I've ever had. Hermione took me places I have never been. The Muggle movies, the Muggle book store (which is her favorite place to go), the Muggle shopping center. The most exciting thing was being able to see movies on a small screen at her home. But like always, it came to an end. Our third year at Hogwarts was just a day away. Hermione and I got a letter from Ron tell us to met him a Leaky Cauldron so we could do last minute shopping and to see Harry. Just a few days ago, we got word that Harry had used his magic to blow up his uncle's sister and that he ran away from his home. Now he was staying at the Leaky Cauldron.

Over the summer, I had tried to call Harry but his uncle had picked up screaming at me for calling and to never call again and that I had the wrong number. Harry had told us his uncle and aunt hated our kind and believed us to be weirdos. So we all stop trying to call and stuck with sending our owls instead.

Hermione and I got the Leaky Cauldron finding Ron and whole family.

"Hermione! Esmeray, dearies, how have you been?" Mrs. Weasley said, hugging us both.

        "Great!" Hermione and I said.

"Hullo!" Fred and George, the Weasley twin sang, hurrying off somewhere.

"Hey," Ron said. "How was your summer?"

        "It was loads of --"

"Have you seen Harry?" I asked interrupting Hermione.

Ron eyed me. "No, not yet," he said slowly. "We should go look for him. I want to hear exactly what happened."

Hermione rolled her eyes. "It's not something you should be excited for. Harry could have gotten expelled," she said frowning.

        "But he wasn't!" Ron said.

Hermione and I got our rooms and the bartender I had met the previous year took our trunks up to our room and we headed off searching through the streets and stopped at shops to buy our school things. Flourish and Blotts seemed gloomy, when we asked the shopkeeper for The Monster book of Monsters, he started crying. We all headed out again leaving with three books that seem to want to tear us apart.

        "Harry! HARRY!" Ron shouted.

I look back excited seeing a black haired boy with round glasses waving at us with a smile on his face sitting at a table.

"Finally!" Ron said, grinning at Harry as he sat down. "We went to the Leaky Cauldron, but they said you'd left, and we went to Flourish and Blotts, and Madam Malkin's, and --"

"I got all my school stuff last week," Harry explained. "And how come you knew I'm staying at the Leaky Cauldron?"

        "Dad," Ron said simply.

"Did you really blow up your aunt, Harry?" Hermione said in a very serious voice.

"I didn't mean to," Harry said, while Ron and I roared with laughter. "I just -- lost control."

"It's not funny, Esme, Ron," Hermione said sharply. "Honestly, I'm amazed Harry wasn't expelled."

"So am I," Harry admitted. "Forget expelled, I thought I was going to be arrested." He looked at Ron. "Your dad doesn't know why Fudge let me off, does he?"

"Probably 'cause it's you, isn't it?" Ron shrugged, still chuckling. "Famous Harry Potter and all that. I'd hate to see what the Ministry'd do to me if I blew up an aunt. Mind you, they'd have to dig me up first, because Mum would've killed me. Anyway, you can ask Dad yourself this evening. We're staying at the Leaky Cauldron tonight too! So you can come to King's Cross with us tomorrow! Hermione's there as well!"
