"Well, I'm glad you're feeling better," Anakin stuttered, trying to keep up.

"Come on, Skyguy. I just wanna get back in the action," she complained.

"I understand, but we Jedi are peacekeepers, not soldiers. Once you've proven yourself as a peacekeeper, you will no longer be my Padawan," he explained.

"But, I don't want to be a Knight yet. I have so much left to learn from you. Not just Jedi stuff. About life, how to be a good person."

"You already know everything you need to. You've even taught me some things I didn't know I needed to learn. I believe you are ready for the trials," Anakin said.

"You really think so?" she asked, beaming.

"You will make a wonderful Jedi. Padme was right from the beginning."

"What does Padme have to do with anything?"

"Nothing yet," he muttered. "Come on, let's go meet the crew," he said, continuing their walk down the hall.

"What do we know about the clones we're getting?" Ahsoka asked, curious.

"They're four of the best the Kaminoans have ever made."

"How are four clones gonna help us?"

"You haven't met these guys." Ahsoka and Anakin walked out onto the landing pad. A large Omicron shuttle blazed straight for them, going past them and landing perfectly.

"They fly worse than you!" Ahsoka commented, staying behind Anakin.

"Very funny." The door of the ship opened.

"So, who are these clones?"

"Meet the Bad Batch. Hunter, he can track anything with his enhanced senses. Wrecker, the strongest person out there. Tech, the smart one, and Crosshair. If you need to shoot a moving target from ten klicks, Crosshair's your man."

"Hey look, there's Obi-Wan," Ahsoka pointed behind the squad.

"He doesn't look too good," Anakin said, walking up to help them.

"Anakin, I'm not sure who flies worse, you or Tech and Wrecker," Obi-Wan said, collapsing on Anakin's shoulder.

"You're a natural-born comedian. Sergeant, welcome to Annaxes."

"We were told to be ready to jump into action, well, here we are. What's the plan?" Hunter said, shaking Anakin's hand.

"My captain actually has a plan. Come with me," he waved his hand.

"Rex, you have a plan?" Ahsoka asked, walking up to him. She slightly hid behind him, catching Master Windu's glare.

"Yes. Every time we attack the droids with a new plan, we succeed. The more we use the strategy, the less effective it gets. The droids have memorized our plans, and we have to vary our attacks every time."

"My concern is," Cody cut in, "It's Rex's strategy the droids know. If they can defeat him, I'm afraid to think of what would happen."

"So, what's your plan?" General Windu asked.

"A couple klicks behind Separatist lines, there's a cyber center. I'll take a small squad out to destroy it. That should cut off Trench's communication with his troops."

"What do you think, Generals?" Windu asked.

"I believe that this could work. What do you think, Anakin?"

"Yes, this would work. Though, I do have to request my Padawan accompany them. She needs a break from all of the stress here at base."

"Of course. Sergeant, your thoughts?" Windu asked.
