VERY SHORT :)
"With Heaven above you, there's Hell over me!" I jumped onto my bed. "The water is rusted, the air is unclean!" My arms flail into the air. "And there for a second I feel free! This is a wastl-" "Kellin tune it down for God's sake!" My aunt hollered from the hallway banging on my door. I turned my music down a bit feeling embarrassed, I was home alone but I guess not anymore...
If you don't know already, I was blaring my favorite band through the speaker set I got for an early birthday present. My birthday was in 4 weeks and I'll be 17. Yeah I Know most 17 year old guys would be jamming to Tyga or Wiz, but Pierce The Veil has always been my favorite bands to listen to. Either way I'm not normal in pretty much any way; I listen to "screamo" music, I highlight my almost shoulder length hair, sing better than Alicia Keys, work at HotTopic for the discounts, and like guys. I was your basic emo kid and have came to the realization that it probably wasn't a phase anymore.
I turned to music down lower and checked my band account on Instagram and had six new followers, twenty-three new spam likes, and two comments. I made a random face and continued my current spam trying to keep my audience entertained. I then hopped onto Twitter checking my normal favorites and notifications from band members tweeting. Tony Perry the lead guitarist from Pierce The Veil had posted a picture of him shredding on stage at their most recent show the night before. God I loved them so much and prayed that my aunt would have enough money to let me go to one of their concerts..
Yes, I had my own job but it was only part time and I had to worry about paying the phone bill to keep talking to my mom at the state women's prison. She had gotten locked up about a year ago after she beat the living hell out of my father from the last time he mistreated me and drug charges. Now I live with my aunt in Michigan waiting to be old enough to move out on my own. I just wanted to be in a band and be called a hero like I've always wanted, but none of my family has been successful so I am now okay that I'll probably live a normal life and grow up after high school.
Ten new likes on my spam picture and I decided to end the spam. I posted the last picture of me and then started to work on my next cover for my band account because I was in the mood. I sat up my cheap mic and looked up the instrumental video for I'm Low On Gas and You Need a Jacket by of course Pierce The Veil. I focused my phone on me and the mic and began to sing.
"Choke,
Tried to wash you down with something strong,
Dry but the taste of blood remains,
Cold, empty mattresses and falling stars,
My, how they start to look the same,
So keep in happiness,
And torture me while I tell you,
'Let's go in style.'
A million hooks around,
A million ways to die,
Darling, it's cold outside.."
That was as far as I could get before the I hit the video limit. I watched it over and decided it was post worthy. I put a filter on it to match my account theme and added a caption:" I'm Low On Gas and You Need a Jacket by Pierce The Veil. Please tag the guys below and I'll love you forever! Xo Kellin. @piercethevic @ptvmike@tonyperry @ptvjaime" followed by a few hashtags.
I was tired and decided to go to bed.

I woke up that next morning around noon because it was the weekend and noticed I had an awful lot of likes, comments, and new followers. I guess the new cover was really good. I smiled and scrolled through my notifications and before I could fully take in the moment I had seen someone had liked, followed, and commented on my video.
Vic Fuentes.

a/n Hopefully this is alright. I'm trying to relate to fan accounts on Instagram and I feel like it's cheesy and I usually write stories a lot different than this but I wanted to try something new.
