I screamed at the Creatures but it was no use, they just wouldn't let go of Jack. I slumped down in a corner and cried and cried. Then I heard footsteps but I didn't care if those Creatures were coming back for me. A torch beam shone in my face, I put me had up to shield the light.
"Oh darling," I was hearing a familiar voice, "What happened, where is Jack?"I explained everything to Mum and Dad. They started crying when I said the bit about Jack. Dad tried to break down the door I said the Creatures lead him through but it didn't work, no matter how hard he kicked it.
After an hour of sitting around hoping for the Creatures to bring Jack back, we decided to go back to the human world and get some sleep. I tossed and turned for another couple of hours but couldn't get to sleep, and I knew why. I was so worried about Jack, I just want him to be safe. I felt so bad, all of the arguments we have had, I wish I had been nicer to him.
I creep out of bed and peered into Mum and Dads room, they were both sound asleep. I knew what I was going to do. I tip-toed down the stairs and, as quietly as I could, un-lached the door to the basement. It was now or never...
