I could feel the tension in my tendons as it stretched to its limits, but I don't mind-rather I speed up...I...I need him now.

Ye Shuwei...

Bloody hell with him, if he had taken my call I wouldn't have been rushing through the heavy traffic of this unimaginable City where people are always in a rush, New York.

I shirked when my cycle handle unintentionally scratched over a red Tesla making its owner yell out some profanities. But who cares-when my life was at the end of a pendulum swinging in the middle of the air.

"Sorry!!" I threw it back over my shoulder, though it didn't soothe the owner, I'm not in a place and in a mood to care about it. It was his fault he was in my way. I cursed, though I never curse. I cursed him as loud as my mind would allow, then I cursed some more...him and his little brother.

Fuck you...My soul wrenches out.

How it all started and how I got myself in this situation, I grimaced at the thought. I shouldn't have thought everyone was as innocent as me. Where did I get the signals wrong from him, I sent him a signal it was pure gratitude for taking the blame on behalf of me not on one but on many occasions.

Does he think I owe him so he is taking it in his hands making a move on this, us being a couple thing.

I gagged.

He is a good lad I'm not going to deny it and handsome too but he is not my type. Actually no man is my type and I'm not shooting for the same team. My dreams were different from them, I want to be resourceful, dedicating myself to nature.

Suddenly I panicked realising where I was, in my mind talks and story telling I accidentally rode on the opposite side of the road where vehicles were rushing at me. Scared of the pain that brought with the hit, I prayed to the god when I spotted a truck coming at me and I didn't have time and a gap to move out to the cycling lane, "maa..." screaming I pulled hard on the brakes.

Minutes passed, the sound of my heart beats in my ears. The morning summer air was caressing my skin. The curse and horns were heard at the back ground as my soul slowly lifted off of me. What a way to die, the prayers and the good deeds paid off, I feel no pain.

A loud horn near my ear pulled my soul from the angles and pushed it into me. I slowly opened my eyes it came eye to eye with the driver that stood in front of me with a loud horn in his hand, and a murderous glare that was willing to kill me for real. I gulped and gave him an apologetic smile as I could. Though his glare didn't weaver, he muttered a "Stupid asian." At my face and walked off, the traffic jammed over me when I walked away lifting my cycle in my hands. I heard drivers shout at me whenever I bumped my vehicle over theirs. I heaved a sigh when I finally reached the cycling lane.

"Ye Shewei, You better accept the deal I have for you, or else with all the suffering I have gone through just meeting you might make me kill you." I shouted not caring that the passer-bys were looking at me as if I'm a gone case, I apologetically bowed at them and immediately rode off.

I walked briskly up the steps into the grand foyer of this immaculate building to the receptionist who was a blonde. She gave a once look over at my attire, A shorts and a loose fitted hoody that belongs to my elder brother, then her eyes landed on my top bun, and half of my hair was let loose. "May I help you?" I nodded as I neared her.

"Ye Shewei..." I breathed out, "I want to meet him..like immediately." I said placing my hand on a shiny marble golden desk. Her eyes widened probably with the fact that I have addressed her boss by his name, or by the truth I exactly look like a moron now, it's in her face...I can read her.

"Miss...?"

"Bei..."

"Yeah! Miss Bei, you can't barge in here and demand to meet him." I shook my head, but she continued anyway, "This is a high-end company. There are some regulations that you have to follow to meet the boss." she took out the receiver and pressed a button. "and I'm sure you don't even make an appointment."

"I do need an appointment to meet him," I shouted and closed my eyes I took a deep breath when I opened my eyes she was already speaking through the phone probably calling the security on me. I ran to her grabbing the receiver I placed it on the phone, it seemed to make her mad. I raised my hands, "look miss," I looked at her name tag, "Miss Martin, I mean no harm to you or to this company. I just need to meet your boss. It's very urgent." My voice was desperate and needy and to add the exhaustion made me weak, my eyes watered.

"Oh my god!!!" Suddenly she gasped, I paused and watched as she rounded her desk and walked to me. She held my hands, her eyes dripped with pity as she looked at me. "you are with his child." She asked me while her eyes were getting glossy.

"What???" I blinked, a tone tear slid down my cheek, when did this happen, is she mistaken my desperation. Whatever gets me to meet him.

"Ye..." I wet my lips, "yeah I'm with his child." She gasped again.

"You look so young, I never thought Mr Ye to be pedophile." I gasped this time, this woman is so judgmental.

"He is not a pedo," I put a pull stop to her wild thoughts, "I'm nineteen. I'm legal." I added.

"Even though, much younger than him," I rolled my eyes she is getting serious about this I have to distract her. When I was about to ask her but her next sentence literally has me rolling on the marbled floor laughing out loud, "then he is a cradle-snatcher." she concluded. I held myself from doing that.

"Excuse me Miss. now you have the reason for me to meet him up." I pried my hand from her hold. "Can you tell me where he is." Asking, I turned to leave the reception and made two steps...

She reached out and grabbed my hand and pulled to stand in the previous place, "he is attending a meeting with the shareholders, which is important to the company." She got hold of the upper arm in an unrelenting grip.

I squirmed wishing it would make her release me, but I was wrong. She continued to drag me to the waiting area, blabbering some nonsense. That's when the security who is the son of my father's security came in and he immediately pulled me away from her grip. James.

"Princess Bei, what are you doing here?" He asked his eyes scanning over me possibly checking for any harm that had been made by this woman. Then he turned to her, "You're not supposed to treat Princess Bei like that." He warned her, "Seek apology, now." He demanded, loudly getting the attention of the passerby.

"James, It's okay." It was awkward, and I smiled a little to ward it off, I neared James, "People are not supposed to know who I am." I smiled again, taking in the crowd that was gathering in the vast area.

"Princess," She eyes me up and down, "you didn't seem like a princess." She says moving to come closer to me. "if you're really a princess then she." Her eyes shifted to my stomach.

Ohh my god...I'm dead.

It aggravated James how she eyed me, he came in between us hiding me behind his big frame. He intimidated her, she took a step back. "I told you not to get close to the princess." I facepalmed.

"James, She said she is."

"Whatever she said, that goes." I scowled at his loyalty. My hands secured around me with the stares I get from the people that were gathered around us. Seriously James.

Before it got carried away I tugged at his hand, he turned to face me. then suddenly bowed his head. "Ohh stop it James how many times I have told you, not to do this."  He lifted his head and looked behind me.

"It's for Master Guru Ye." Master??? As if the master of the firm, Ye Shewei.

I swiftly turned and dashed on the person who stood right behind me. I took a step back.

I gasped audibly, the man that stood before me is indeed Guru Ye.
