To catch you up.....

I shuck my shirt off and put the blue one on.

I pause, listening again, my eyes widen in fear. I dive into the giant pile of clothes as the door bursts off it's roots, the hinges fly in all direction. Splinters of wood fly everywhere, and a billow of dust rises. The door falls in slow motion and as it hits the floor, i'm sure the wooden floor has a indent from the impact.

***********

I am hiding in tons of different clothing pieces. I hold my nose to shut out the smell permeating from somewhere in the pile. I sharpen the rest of my senses to make up for my lack of being able to smell.

I'm fairly certain the stench of clothing has to at the very least, mask my smell. I watch with a stiff, crouched posture as the biggest wolf I've ever seen walks through the dust, into view.

My eyes widen, this was also one of the more beautiful  wolves I've ever seen. I blinked a few times to be sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.

His shoulder would easily be to my head. I try to rethink my plan, since his size is screwing it up. Originally, I was going to attack the Alpha the moment I saw him, but this guy is HUMONGOUS. I thought he would look like a weak, old male, but this guy is buff. I mean, every guy I've seen in wolf form has been significantly smaller than me, and I mean REALLY small. I'm actually quite large,  and I thought I was the largest wolf out there!

I hate when guys just saunter in and show off only to be brought down by someone stronger. It's happened too many times before, I have learned to not go off of looks, but off of personality.

I study this wolf for a minute, calculating the distance in which I would have to leap to rip his throat out. Through narrowed eyes I watch him silently.

His head whips around the room, other than his head moving, his body stays perfectly still. I decide that I had better just play this safe and stick with plan B. And let's just say, Plan B is kind of a go with the flow thing, where I just go with anything that comes my way and improvise on it.

My attention is drawn back instantly when I hear the Alpha growl, raise his head and say,
"She has been here."
"Sir?" One wolf flanking the Alpha asks.

They did not actually 'say' those things, it's really like when we're in wolf form, we say things to each other with our minds. Most of the time we can't control who we do and do not say things to.

I jerk when I hear his voice in my head. A pair boxers falls in my face with the sudden movement.

I wrinkle my nose, but I don't dare move because something in the air has changed. 'Turn back! All of you!'

The way I know when they change back to human form is because I don't hear fur rustling anymore. My conscious also doesn't feel so crowded anymore.

Hearing a low voice, my sensitive ears perk up to catch it,

"We must leave! There is something happening on the borders! It seems another pack is trying to fight by surrounding the perimeter!"

Hearing the patting of shoes across carpet I begin to calm down. I hear a low, insistent voice,

"But Alpha, I saw her."

"How likely is it for a female to actually be alive might I ask you?"

"Sir, I mean what I said, she was right here, can't you smell her?"

"WHERE'S THE PROOF BETA?!"

The room is quiet for a few awkward moments, and I can only imagine a star-down happening, the Beta then speaks,
