"Derek Hale. How nice of you to call,"

"Hey Ty. Are you free to talk?"

"I already know why you've called. We'll be down tomorrow." And with that, she hung up the phone.

"Mom?" Ty turned to face her daughter who leaned against the door. "Is it time?"

"Pack your bags Leo. We're going home." Leo nodded, a small smirk growing on her face.

"I still don't get why were going now. We should've gone a year ago when momma died," Leo said matter of factually and it was true when Laura died, Leo and Ty were the last to find out although due to their link, the two of them felt her life end before Derek even called to let them know.

"Because Laura didn't want us to. Plus we already know it was Peter and since he's dead, there is no reason why we wouldn't return," Ty replied for what felt like the hundreth time her daughter asked. She knew Leo wanted to be there to help find out who killed her mother and she understood that. Of course she'd wanna find her wife's murderer but Laura had given her distinct instructions to stay away from their home town and keep their beloved daughter safe. No matter how much she wanted to disobey and avenge her wife, she knew the dangers of bringing a knewly awakened witch to Beacon Hills so instead she took the time to train her daughter everything she knows going to old friends when a new power emerges. She's proud of the girl Leo has become but she knows she also has to keep an eye on her. Laura was her anchor and without her, Leo was a ticking timebomb. With the right buttons pushed, she was bound to explode.

"I get that but i just find it dumb. We could've been a lot of help," she stated with a small pout.

"And how would we have been able to do that Leonie Hale? Your powers only just started appearing this time last year. What help could you have possibly been other than a danger?" Leo frowned knowing she was right. But that didn't mean it was fair. They didn't even get to hold a funeral for her. Yeah, it wouldn't have held a lot of people, they were all dead, but it still would've been nice. "I know it hurts but it's what we had to do baby." Ty patted Leo's thigh comfortingly feeling a little guilty about being so blunt but it had to be said. Leo would've killed a lot of people if they had gone to Beacon earlier than intended.

"I know."

"Derek Hale! Where the hell is your moody ass?!" Ty shouted as soon as they walked through the threshold of Derek's home. Leo was quick to mutter a spell stopping whoever it was running towards them ready to attack.

"Nice try," she smirked watching them struggle in her grasp, Leo not even breaking a sweat, "dog." The werewolf growled baring their growing canine's forcibly continuing to fight their way out of the invisible grip holding them down.

"Who.. the hell... are you?" They growled out glaring darkly at the mother and daughter. Neither of them answered their attention going to Derek who had just arrived.

"Isaac. Calm down and she'll let you go." Derek ordered. Isaac could feel the domineering glare on his back making him calm down almost immediatly. He averted his eyes from the smug Hale who with a wave of her hand released him, letting him drop to the floor. He sat up, turning to Derek with an apologetic look.

"Sorry."

"Uncle Derek, you really need to put your pets on a leash." Leo said. Isaac let out an angry growl ready to take a step towards Leo but one glare from Ty and Derek stopped him. He already knew Derek was scary but if this lady is related to him somehow, it's obvious she could instill the same kind of fear within him. It annoyed Isaac to no end especially since his bratty niece is very aware of that fact.
