"Why did you call me early in the morning, Dean Sarroza?" I asked the man sitting on his swivel chair and his arms are in the table. He's looking at me with this sweet smile on his lips.

"You still look the same as usual, Eve." He finally spoke after he's contented staring.

"Why would I change anyway?"

He started laughing in a loud way. It's like a said something so funny.

This old man really likes to laugh.

"Ahhh! You are really my source of happiness, Eve." He wiped the tears on his eyes before he started to ask serious questions. "How's your stay here?"

"So far, it's good. I encountered no problems, Dean."

"I see. How about your studies?"

"I also have no problems about that matter, Dean. I'm coping with the topic so smoothly."

"Then... How about being the new student council president, Mr. Everett Meyer?" He asked new question, again.

It's been fifteen days since I started going to this school. I don't fully like this place but I also don't hate it. There is some kind students and some bad some students out there.

One look and I can determine what type of students they are. If they are nerds. If they are troublemakers. If they're secretly smart. If they're hardworking. If they're lazy. I judge them based on what I see.

Rightnow, I have a few friends here. One of them is Altair Reigo. We have similarities and we get along well. He's the student council vice president. Altair doesn't talk much to people and he doesn't care at all if he's not interested. That's why I'm a little shock when he talked to me first back then on my first day here. I have someone to talk to and Altair is nice too. He's not a loss to be part of my friend's list.

Becoming a student council president of this school is kinda hassle but I'm also enjoying my job so it's fine. Ramon De Gutierrez, my cousin, the real student council president, recommended me to become the new student council president and almost all of the people here agreed to it. I don't even know why. I'm not that famous. There's nothing special about me too. So I don't really get why they chose me.

May naririnig pa akong issue na anak daw ako ng--what they called it again--mafia? Yeah, right.

They're crazy.

"All in all, it's okay, Dean. The students are kind though their mind works a little crazy. I think they're afraid of me. Kadalasan ay sumusunod kaagad sila sa akin. While the other students--they're avoiding me. Some are even afraid to make an eye contact." Maybe because of the rumor that I'm a son of a mafia.

The Dean started laughing again. He really likes to laugh. If it happens that I just don't know him--iisipin ko na nasisiraan na siya ng bait.

"Well... 'That' rumor is one of the reason why you're so famous here in our school, Eve. They think you're a son of a mafia. Oh god!"

That old man is my uncle.

"Goodmorning, pres."
