Chapter 1

Chapter One: The Letter

It was a boring afternoon for Darcie until something strange happened. Something was scratching against her door. Darcie went to open the door and saw a White Snowy Owl holding a letter. It was addressed to her! It had a strange wax seal on the back with a letter H on it. She was so excited she ran upstairs to show her parents. She squealed with delight as they read:

Dear Darcie,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry . Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no loner than July 31.

She then read out the list of things she needed. "Please can I go! Please Please Please?" Darcie asked her Parents and of course being the kind hearted people they are they agreed as long as she would write to them every so often and visit when she could.
