(Chapter XVII) Revelations.

The light shines through the windows, illuminating the corridor. It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming. On days like these, kids like you.

SNS: Should explain themselves.
CHR: How about we talk over some fighting? Been getting stiff from being a ghost.
SNS: *grunt* sure thing kid... but remember... you're gonna have a bad time.

Chara laughs demonically and the two of them start fighting it out. Both of them are fighting seriously.

SNS: So tell me how you're alive.
CHR: I don't have a good idea myself, but I have somewhat of a- *BLAST* -hypothesis.
SNS: Care to share? I got time to- *SLASH* -spare.
CHR: It's been good fighting but I'm kinda tired.
SNS: Sure. Now start explaining.
CHR: Well basically I've been living my life, if you want to even call it that, as a ghost watching frisk. It gets lonely but I'm used to it. This started a couple weeks back. I was following frisk as usual, when suddenly I felt something.
SNS: What exactly?
CHR: I felt... pain. I bumped the wall as I was following frisk.
SNS: I see.
CHR: As time goes by I feel more and more alive and now I even have a physical body.
SNS: What about your magic? Has it returned?
CHR: Not yet, but It'll probably return too.
SNS: What do you think caused this?
CHR: I thought I tamed my hate, but as It seems... I only split that part of me away, and that part somehow found a host to cling on like I did to frisk. The thing is Frisk defeated me and that resulted in me turning into a ghost, but that new host hasn't realized yet so the hate part of my soul can survive.
SNS: But that doesn't explain the fact you're now real and are talking to me as a normal person.
CHR: I believe that has to do with the fact that I'm the real Chara so all the power my hate siphons returns to me instead of them.
SNS: So basically, what you're telling me is... you're the reason all this is happening.
CHR: I understand you're angry, but I can't control what they do, my hate part.
SNS: *sigh* I got it kiddo. Have you told frisk yet?
CHR: No. I thought you'd be the first to know considering you're the only one whose soul passes on all the info from timeline to timeline. Your soul still feels genocide... multiple of them.
SNS: I'm gonna go to Paps. You tell frisk.
CHR: Sure thing. Bye!
SNS: Bye.
*FWOOP*
CHR: Now it's time to do what I came here for.

Chara traverses the underground and makes her way to the lab. She enters the building and searches for the door to the forgotten part, the true lab.

CHR: This door should be the one.

Chara pushes her hand on the padlock.

AI: Scanning fingerprints. Please standby.
CHR: Please work!
AI: Access denied.
CHR: It was worth a shot.
*SLASH*

Chara walks in through the hole she made and gets in the elevator. The elevator descends into the lab. Chara steps out the elevator and draws her knife.

CHR: Let's see if his work is really that good.

Chara moves through the lab and finds herself in front of one of the best inventions he ever engineered and created.

CHR: Frisk... I'll see you in a bit.

Chara steps in the chamber and locks the capsule. Lights start flickering and the chamber starts shaking. The console starts speaking.

AI: Reality Jump Initiated. Please be patient.

The chamber starts shaking more and more harshly. The lights go out completely.

AI: Quantum travel imminent in 10 seconds.

Charas' body starts to be consumed by the mass energy shes exposed to.

CHR: How long does this thing take?!
AI: Travel imminent in 5 seconds.

Charas' body has been decomposing completely with only her soul remaining.

AI: Travel imminent in 3.
CHR: *grunt*
AI: 2.
CHR: Stupid machine!
AI: 1.
CHR: NGAAAAHHHH!
*BOOM*
AI: Travel completed successfully. Destination unknown. Estimated time of return, error. System overflow. Initiating shut down.

The whole lab was ravaged by the explosion, but charas' plan was a success. Now she finds herself somewhere dark, darker, yet darker.
