THAT day I stayed with Anna, letting her shower me with kindness and love. Being around her definitely helped me forget about Liam but only for a short amount of time. It was when I was alone that my mind drifted back to Liam and what had occurred earlier today.

It was officially over. I couldn't believe it.

Four years of our relationship and this was it. I felt incredibly sad about how it ended but I knew that there was no scenario where it would have gone okay. The situation was messed up and our relationship was doomed from the moment the tattoos showed up on my skin.

In Anna's small bathtub, I stared at the bubbles, afraid of what tomorrow would bring. I had to go to college, where I could potentially bump into Ara.

The only thing I felt for her was anger. She had betrayed me in one of the worst ways possible and I wasn't going to get over that yet. Maybe never.

I doubted she wanted anything to do with me now. I had a soul mate—well several soul mates—something she despised.

Having a soul mate was the ultimate betrayal. Even though I had no say in it, she probably believed I did somehow.

A sweet smell hit my nose. I knew it couldn't be from here, all I could smell was the soap I had lathered over my body. I was smelling what my soul mate was eating. Whatever it was, it smelt good.

Sighing, I stepped out of the bath, my mouth salivating. That good smell—even though it was fleeting—made me hungry.

I found Anna sitting in her lounge, watching a reality television show. I had changed into my pajamas and dressing gown, letting my dripping wet hair dry naturally.
