I woke up to someone hugging me and it was Jeonghan. I remember what happened two days ago. I move quietly so he can sleep but the minute I move Jeonghan wakes up.

"You can sleep until your work time," I said. "Lock the door when you leave. I can make breakfast for you before you go."

"It's fine, I can buy waffles for breakfast," he said. "I think Jaehyun is waiting for you." Jeonghan was right. Jaehyun was already in the front of the building waiting, he said he will substitute for a teacher today but did not specify which class. I rush to my class and the homeroom teacher isn't there. A few minutes later Jaehyun walks in, today is going to be very awkward.

"My name is Jung Jaehyun, I will be your substitute until your teacher returns," he said. "From the note, your teacher got into an accident over the weekend so she won't be coming back any time soon. Which means I'm your long-term sub."

My reaction caught his attention, and without saying anything he sent me a message. Today is the lower class test so we stayed with our homeroom teacher. I try not to look up at Jaehyun.

Jaehyun's message to me:

Jaehyun: What with that reaction?
Me: I can't let my classmate know our homeroom substitute is best friends with a student
Jaehyun: I don't think they will mind about it
Me: Imma go talk to Jeonghan
Jaehyun: I forgot you are dating someone

"Who are you texting to?" a random student asks. "Is the person you talk to our substitute?"

"No, he's just a friend," I answered. The student went back to their seat and I sigh, like always I take a nap when I don't have any work but annoying Jaehyun won't let me sleep. During the break, Jaehyun asks me to stay back. I know what he is going to say and do.

"Do you want to eat anything at lunch?" Jaehyun asked. "I can buy it and give it to you at lunch."

"Sushi," I said. "I might go visit Jeonghan at lunch."

"I see," he said. "Go back to your seat and pretend you are sleeping." I pretend to sleep so my classmate doesn't suspect anything between me and Jaehyun.

The house is very empty with only me and her cat. I have another day off because our schedule got ruined. I decided to spend time with her cat and get to know Dark and Xiao better, Jaehyun told me I can go see her at lunch and probably buy her food too.

"Where is Jaehyun?" I ask. "How was school?"

"Jaehyun is substituting for my homeroom, we make a promise we can't let everyone know about our friendship," she answers. "I try to take a nap but Jaehyun won't let me."

"I bought you sushi," I said. "Jaehyun told me you wanted this today." I bought her favorite sushi and she looks very happy, the only way to avoid fans is to eat in XXX cafe. I walk her back to school and give her a little kiss before leaving to go home. When I got back to the apartment, Dark was already asleep and Xiao was being hyper.
