It had now been three day since that night, and that next morning had been, a little odd. Adrien almost didn't want to get up, but when Marinette finally woke up he did. They kept getting closer, and were very good friends, maybe even a little more. Although neither would admit that. That morning Marinette and Adrien were laughing and talking upstairs in the same room where they had their pillow fort. Suddenly Plagg burst into the room panting. Adrien had jumped up, and when he saw how distraught his friend he ran over and put a jand on his shoulder.
"Plagg what's wrong?"
"T-they're here, e-early." Plagg wheezed.
"Get Nino."
Plagg nodded and transformed into a bat, quickly flying out of the room.
"Who's here early? Adrien what's wrong." Marinette asked.
Before Adrien could answer Nino came running in with Plagg close behind him.
"I heard the royal pain showed up early."
"Yes, and now I need you to take Marinette somewhere safe."
"But dude, the storm is only getting worse."
"Somewhere in the castle dumb ass." Plagg said, rolling his eyes.
"Just get her somewhere safe." Adrien said.
Nino nodded and took Marinette by her arm. She looked back at Adrien before Nino pulled her out of the room.
"This is literally the worst time for them to have come!" Adrien growled.
"Don't worry, we'll figure something out."
"I hope so."
Adrien and Plagg both walked downstairs. Adrien put on a fake smile as he saw his cousin.
"Ah cousin, finally. I almost thought you were hiding from us!" Felix said.
"Oh, why would anyone want to do that?"
Felix laughed and Adrien held his tight smile.
"I didn't expect you to come early, again."
"Yes well, Lila wanted to come early. I hope you don't mind, we would also like to stay a day late."
"So three days?"
"Yep."
Adrien sighed. Who knows what his father would do if he found out Adrien said no.
"As long as it's only three. I have somewhere to be in four days."
"Of course cousin."
"Great, now where will we be staying?" Lila said, obviously bored.
"Plagg, would you mind showing them to their room."
"Of course. Follow me."
He led them to the opposite side of the castle, away from Marinette. Adrien quickly transformed into a black cat and ran after Nino's scent. He found the both them in the tallest tower of the castle. He transformed and walked over to Nino.
"They're staying on the west side of the castle."
"Good. But, can I talk to you real quick?"
Adrien nodded, confused on what was up with Nino. Nino pulled him outside of the door, and closed it so Marinette couldn't hear.
"She's so freaked out Adrien, she's not showing it because she's good at hiding her emotions, but it's not hard to tell. She is the only human in the castle, and the smallest person here. Are you sure it's safe for her to stay here especially with your cousin here?"
