Maybe the pills will stop working. Maybe one day I will be the monster. Maybe one day I will be the victim. I'm lost now. I don't know who I am anymore. I just wish I could see him one last time.
The air is cold in the building, my breaths are becoming shorter and shorter every second. Why does he follow me? It was never my choice to be this, proxy. This is all his fault. I don't know what Alex did or say to find the monster that ruined all of us. If it wasn't for him Bryan would still be her and everything would be okay.
"I'll kill you!" I shout into the darkness hoping the Tall Man would hear me. "Everyone's gone! I never wanted to work for you, I wanted to be normal. I want my friends back." Tears stared running down my blood stained face. Everything is gone now. Why am I still her?
I look up and the man with his long wrenching arms. His midnight suit that hung from his body. You can tell he killed another not to long ago from the blood on his tendrils. I closed my eyes. "Please." I mumbled
I waited for death but nothing happened. Slowly opening my eyes, I saw the hooded man charge toward the operator when he disappeared. I backed up into the corner of the broken building, accidentally placing my hand on a pile of shattered glass. Warm blood streamed down my fingers. I watched it drip onto the floor as the hooded man approached me holding out his hand.
"Please, leave!" I Screamed, terrified. But he did not listen. He slowly sat on the ground. Still holding out his hand like I was a dog. He motioned to the blood and I placed my red palm onto his. Before I could react I was being dragged. He lead me into another building not to far away, possibly a old barn. Sitting me down onto a pile of bricks. I watched as the hooded man climbed the walls to reach a ledge , pulling down some bandages, water, and cloth.
He poured the water onto the dusty cloth. It burned as the water soaked into the red gash. I whimpered in pain as he cleared the blood. Luckily, there was no glass stuck in my hand. Wrapping the bandage around the cloth, I watched it soak up the red water.
"Thank you." I mumbled. Just loud enough to where he could hear me. All I got was a slight nod in response. Now, I knew I could as questions.
"Who are you?" I asked as he came back with more water and blankets. He was still quiet. I grabbed the water and lifted my mask so the cold liquid cold slip past my lips. I looked up and saw him gab his gun and head for the door.
"Wait!" I shouted. I didn't want him to leave now. I wanted answers. "Please stay at least give me some information." I begged. Standing up, i walked toward him, glass cracked underneath my boots.
He pointed his gun toward me. "D-don't come a-any closer." He stuttered out broken words.
"Please Im not like Alex! I just have some questions." His arm lowered but he still had a tight grip on his weapon.
"F-fine"
"Name?"
"M-my name does n-not matter." He steeped forward a little, "just call me Hoodie. My turn, whats your name?"
"Masky. Just Masky." I replied. "What do you now about Jay and Alex?"
"Jay is ruining everything he's trying to fix, Alex started this."
Well isn't that obvious?
"Can you help me?" Everything was quiet. I could feel his eyes staring down on me. Trying to find something to say. "We can figure this out together. Please, I have no one anymore!"
Hoodie dropped his gun and ran toward toward me, sliding on his knees across the floor, he grabbed me and held me in a tight embrace. I was almost knocked to the ground. His body was warm and his orange sleeves wrapped around my body.
"I-i'm sorry for leaving you." Hoodie started to cry, holding me close.
"What-" I was interrupted by a soft pair of lips pressed against mine. I pulled back covering my mouth. His mask was gone and I saw Bryan siting in front of me. Tears streamed down my face as I pulled of my mask and kissed him again. I closed my eyes and put my hand in his cheek. I could feel the blush creeping up in my face. We both pulled back and stared at each other.
"I missed you."
