3rd person pov:
It was cold. So cold that Y/n could feel her toes freezing as she walked towards the largest building she could see. A beautiful and yet terrifying structure that dominated the skyline and according to villagers held within it and equally terrifying women. Y/n could feel her baby, not kicking but just its presence and it was the only warmth around. The bump wasn't obvious under the winter coat, that was performing no function other than to perform some kind of heat-based placebo affect that would waud off hypothermia.

Y/ns toes began to lose feeling as she trudged through the snow, the gravel of the bath underneath adding to the crunch of every step. she passed by crumbling cottages made of cracked cobblestone and rotting thatch. the thick panes of glass in the windows giving the inside of the houses a hazy and dreamlike sheen as   y/n peer in to catch a glimpse of a fire. most of the Villagers had retreated inside the cottages, but a presses few had stayed to witness the stranger walk through the village (in their opinions) to her boom. however, y/n had no knowledge of the Villagers pessimistic outlook of her jerny.

finally, there was the gate the castell was in sight and even her baby seemed to perk up at the promise of warmth and maybe even a rest. the huge struckter was built with an air of grandeur and intimidation that matched perfectly its occupancies. a golden glow came through many of the windows highlighting the deep black bricks and carvings. y/n couldn't help but knowtis the gothic majesty of the place and the strange feeling that it gave her.
the cold began to get to her. everything trembled and began to go numb as she weekly knocked on the door.

slowly it began to open a seem of golden light spread from the gap in the open door. yet darkness crept into her vision as conscience slowly slipped away. all y/n could see before she fully slipped into sleep was a tall finger in white and with what little strength, she had left y/n uttered "please help me. my baby..." as she slowly slipped to the ground.

Lady D pov:
Alcena had been in a perplexing convocation with mother Mirander due to a strange visitor that had been seen wondering through the village and forest. when suddenly one of the many maids of the castell gingerly entered as if she were a mouse entering the dragons keep. and so, her voice squeaked out "my lady there is a woman outside coming up the path and she looks cold madam." the girl looked at the ground as if worried to look directly at her employer. "She doesn't look like she can make it to the door," she whispered.

"Well how close is she?" Alcina braked short tempered and irritable from mother Mirander's constant orders and objections. "She has just come through the gate madam," the maid answered, "but many of us think that she won't make it up the stairs.... also, one of the other maids thinks that she might be pregnant madam."  this made Alcina's jaw tense the idea that a woman and her child will be hurt due to the cruel weather and apathetic Villagers. "Then what are you doing standing here!" she yelled as the she strode with purpose towards the front door with the maid scurrying. just behind her.

as she marched towards the door looking as if she would brake it down. however just as she was about to rag the door open a faint rapping sounded. if you didn't know someone was on the other side you would have thought that a tree was tapping its branches agents the door in the wind. so she opened the door eyes wide waiting to see the little creacher that has caused so much panic.
she looked week. she looked cold. she looked as if she had being holding on for dear life to her consusness and strength. her lips Alcina noticed had no colour in them and gave her a ghostly appearance as they opened to squeak out a plea for help. "please help me. my baby..." she whispered before collapsing her body crumbling like a leaf.
she was so light and fragile, like a china doll so delicate and beautiful.

Alcena felt emotions that had been lost to her for decades she wanted to protect and she could have stayed in the delicate moment forever but the snow falling from the heavens would surely cause further damage too the poor creature in her arms.
